I recently attended the Career Fair at NJIT on March 4th, hoping to explore potential opportunities with various companies. However, my experience with Impact Consulting Enterprises left me utterly disappointed and disheartened.Despite traveling thousands of miles and boasting a background working with esteemed fintech giants and a seed startups, I encountered the worst outlook from this company. As a minority individual with a considerable amount of experience as a full stack developer, I approached their booth with optimism. However, instead of a welcoming atmosphere, I was met with immediate rejection and disdain.The representatives at the booth demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism and respect. Despite my qualifications and willingness to adapt to their needs, they dismissed me outright, citing their preference for "no code" on WordPress. Their attitude reeked of discrimination, leaving me feeling marginalized and undervalued.It was evident that they had no genuine interest in considering candidates or utilizing their expertise. Their dismissive behavior not only wasted my time but also tarnished the reputation of their company. I strongly advise students and alumni of NJIT to steer clear of Impact Consulting Enterprises. They clearly do not value diversity or merit, and their treatment of potential candidates reflects poorly on their integrity as a company.
