If you do not have an account in a Black owned bank, I highly recommend you do so immediately. Have your children, family, friends and neighbors do the same.”

“Our CD matured so we drove 45 minutes to this location. Since they closed the North Bergen branch, it’s very inconvenient to bank with Popular. However, Glenda the good banker was very professional and courteous, going out of her way to assist us, providing alternate solutions . The CD was an IRA, so the bank would not take a signed letter and insisted on a “wet” signature. Anyone could see how closing branches then requiring customers to appear in person would be frustrating, but having one good banker can ease some of these pain points. Great job, Glenda!”
