when i went to philly i stopped at this speedway in newark on mccarter hwy and when i was going back to nyc i also stopped here as well. good gas prices and saved some pennies using my speedway card. picked up some drinks and snacks going and coming back as convient shop has good selections of stuff. in new jersey there is no self service for gas which is ok with me . good lighting especially at night so you cant miss this speedway on mccarter hwy. cash or card, gas prices are the same and even the restrooms are clean for humans to use .speedway in newark gets 4 stars on my yelp meter.

Just needed to top off my gas tank... nothing more nothing less. Customer service at this location is non-existent.Its a no frills kind of deal, go in and out. Getting out of this gas station unto the highway is a pita.Area looked and felt shady but to be cautious I never stepped out the vehicle.
