The people that work at this pharmacy are so lazy one person to a window when they have 3 windows and two other employees just walking around as if they are not working meanwhile the drive thru line is hella long… No good customer service or urgency.

They close at 12:00 midnight but they wouldn't let anyone in after 11:30pm. When I asked why not ..this raggedy officer said he has to go on lunch break .. in the last 30 minutes of the shift. Very nonchalant and arrogant I must admit. I couldn't believe it! I had to document this. I was about to spend $50 in there. Money lost for Walgreens and another loss for the black officers/community poorly doing their job. It's soo sad and unfortunate! We deserve better

Was just there rude pharmacy worker. My husband was in there This weekend to fill a prescriptions. They would not fill his prescription because they told him that he did not have insurance which he did. I went in there today to see what was going on and sure enough she said he did not have insurance showed her the card that he did she could not understand what happened. This is why I do not shop in this Walgreens. mMy husband also said very rude workers and he refuses to go there again.

Schedule my booster shot 2 weeks in advance and when the day came the store said it was temporarily closed. They offered me to transfer me to a different store which they did and I was told I had to schedule an appointment again in that different location. They are so unprofessional. I realized now why this store has so many bad reviews. DONT GO THERE!

I honestly wish I could give it negative stars!! In general I love Walgreens and have never had a complaint until I came across this Walgreens at 361 Bergen in Newark NJ. Walgreens offers COVID testing free of charge. I know because I scheduled my COVID test at one in Rockaway NJ and it took no longer than 2 mins and they were amazing!! However the same could not be said for this one in Newark!! My husband and I are flying out of the country on Sunday and had to get tested. However I had to find a Walgreens near his job to accommodate his schedule with the 3day prior window given. Even though the appointment was booked and approved online, this Walgreens waited until my husband arrived for the test after it had been book several days prior. They go on to tell my husband that he could not take the test because there was a problem with billing his insurance. Mind you he always get his prescription from Walgreens without any problem. They go on to tell my husband that the COVID test cost $11.99 so he asks if he can just pay out of pocket. The woman tells him no that its past his appointment time and his best option now is go to a clinic so he can use his insurance. So that leaves us frantically looking for another location to get him tested in order to meet the deadline!! Completely and utterly disappointed and disgusted with the Walgreens at 361 Bergen at Newark NJ. I don't know what underhanded business is being contacted at that Walgreens but I would recommend headquarters look into It. I definitely will not be doing further business at that location and recommend everyone stay away unless you want to deal with the same unnecessary nonsense!!!!
