Why has Wells Fargo chosen to close most of the drive-through ATM in the Newark/ South Orange area? Now we're forced to get out at night and walk to an ATM or drive to Union county. Strangely, Elizabeth still has functioning drive thru ATM's.

New to the area in the summer, I've made some deposits i n the foyer late at night and I've seen one homeless person sleeping. Well tonight the beginning of winter there was at minimum 5 guys in there smoking, etc! I didn't realize there was an ATM on the street. I will use that going forward. Maybe you should consider closing the vestibule. Not really a good look for the bank.

Located on Broad St., it was a very convenient location for me as I was passing by, on foot, shopping. The ATM is located in the foyer area, which was crowded, so I went to see a teller to make my deposit. Inside, I was greeted by a well dressed gentleman. He probably was someone who one would speak to about opening an account. The place was clean, with plenty of seating for those who are waiting in the lobby. My bank associate was very friendly, but he was soft spoken and had a thick accent. It was pretty loud here between a woman arguing with her daughter and the doors constantly being opened to the very busy street. I had to ask him to repeat himself several times before I finally interpret it as he was thanking me for my business and hoped I had a wonderful day.

Next to the Prudential Building on Broad Street, this Wells Fargo is in a convenient location for people working and living in the area. There is an outdoor ATM on the side of the building on Bank Street, too. While street parking is limited, there are local parking lots around the area. However, your best bet is to hit up this Wells when you are on foot.
