I recently visited the Newton location during an unexpected health emergency. The entire experience, from my interactions with all staff to the efficiency and genuine attentiveness provided by the receptionist, PA and Doctor were truly phenomenal. I was in and out within 30 minutes and left feeling immensely grateful for the exceptional level of care. Thank you! ?? ?

I went to Newton office and received supportive and efficient service from the front desk professional this week. My provider was warm, thorough, very helpful and communicative too. A good experience. The waiting area could definitely use some sprucing up, but the team made the experience a good one. Thanks team!

I’m new to the area and have found this is a great urgent care. I was able to have my daughter seen with no issues. Even though my insurance wasn’t accepted the staff was able to look me up in the system and see that I had insurance from another employer. They took the time to look up and help rather than turn me away. Highly recommend.

I went in a few minutes before 6. I waited 10 minutes for anyone to come to the front, he tells me he doesn't work the desk and walks away. A woman with long black hair comes out and doesn't even apologize for the wait and appears to be annoyed. Someone should always be at the front desk of a medical office or at least have a bell.

Needed to go due to an injury to my Mom which then turned into some more serious concerns. The staff was wonderful as well as helpful and Dr. Smith is an absolute gem. Terrific, caring and listens, exactly what a doctor should be. He's young and a credit to the facility and Atlantic Health at large. Don't lose him!!

I had a very pleasant experience at my visit yesterday to Newton urgent care, Newton New Jersey. I was greeted with a smile And both of the receptionists were very caring, friendly, compassionate women. I had the pleasure of speaking with Elizabeth and Susan and like I said they were just a pleasure to deal with. I had an injury to my hand, and they could not have been more helpful

I came in this past Thanksgiving morning and was signed in by Rose & Elizabeth at front desk. The CMA, Erica, checked my basics signs. My wrist had swollen overnight and was painful. Dr. Alvarado checked and called in the prescription I needed..all of the staff were professionals but also showed kindness. All in all a very positive experience. Well done staff!

Dr Smith at this location provided me with exceptional medical service on more than one occasion. He is bright, thorough, informative , patient and very kind. He is a welcome addition to Sussex County's medical doctors, and I highly recommend him. The condition of the facility he has to work in however is an embarrassment, since it's so old and run down; hopefully its long-overdue replacement will give this medical practice the respect it deserves.

The staff, and all the assistance were very friendly and professional and made me feel real comfortable. It was quick and the doctors were very knowledgeable and seemed very concerned about our concerns. They listened and answered all of my questions. The doctors were Great !!!

After I was unable to get an appointment with my primary MD and specialist I came to Urgent Care. Dr Smith had a great "bedside" manner and treated me with respect and care. He listened to me and actually took the time to take out his stethoscope and otoscope and use them. I was diagnosed and received the prescriptions that have me on the road to recovery. I am so grateful. The rest of the staff was also friendly and respectful. Thank you all very much. You really put the care in healthcare for me.

The staff at this place went above and beyond for me today I cannot thank them enough for not only their kind and caring nature, but the treatment and service I received. Dr. Alrarado was especially helpful checking on the status of me multiple times during my treatment. If you are feeling sick in any way, shape or form, I would recommend Newton urgent care!

I am disappointed that they don't accept horizon NJ Health. It's ridiculous that if I can't get an appointment at my regular doctor, I am forced to sit in the ER for hours because urgent care won't take horizon nj health. I feel these days a lot of doctor offices don't care like doctors used to care back in the day. Now it's all about that dollar, that's all anyone cares about these days.

Avoid this place like the plague. Front desk receptionist told me my insurance doesn’t cover x-ray scans right after I got off the phone with my insurance company assuring me that they do. This was all after the fact of them telling me that my insurance will be accepted for this visit when I initially got there. They repeatedly said they are just going to send the bill to me and not bother sending it to my insurance. Secondly, the inside of this place looks like it’s from the 19th century. Everything is outdated, floors, walls cracking, I was honestly shocked they had an x ray camera. Go to the hospital right up the street and avoid this dumpster.

Doctors and staff were so attentive and quick to respond. I was having an emergent allergic reaction. They were just all wonderful.
