Black Dog Books is a warm and inviting local bookstore. Though small, it has a really great and thoughtfully curated selection for all ages and tastes. It offers popular new books and used books for good prices. The atmosphere is calm and lovely, with a special children’s section and super comfy chairs. The owner is knowledgeable and lovely. It is a wonderful shop that feels personal and keeps customers going back.
Great bookstore, and the owner is so nice. I come up from an hour away. Definitely worth the trip!

Lovely shop! Wanted to do a mini outing with my kids and this was brilliant. Calm atmosphere, thoughtfully curated children’s section, and all the Harry Potter vibes ☺️
