I recently sold my home, and am ready to make plans for my move. I called Dan, the moving man, for this job as he was recommended to me. Although I am moving from a home, almost all of the furniture has been given away.
Dan answered the phone and told me to get a paper and pencil to write down the information. When he was finished giving me his rates, he asked me if I understood everything he said. I tried to explain that I only need a 2 man team because I don’t have that much. He said he would decide what I needed. When I tried to inquire if he was available for the date I wanted, he wanted to know first if I was ready to sign a contract NOW! I hesitated before I answered, and that’s when he said, “I’m trying to run a business here. I’m done with you-Bye!” and slammed down the phone!
I don’t think I can adequately describe his rudeness and condescending attitude. He obviously did not need or want my business.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Dan and his crew showed at exactly when they said they would. They were very professional and considerate, they took great care of all of our belongings and did it really fast! Dan and his crew went above and beyond from the first phone call to schedule the move, to the very last second of them pulling out of the driveway of our new place. AMAZING SERVICE!

Dan moved a baby grand piano for me and worked seemlessly with his coworkers to get the job done-on time and at no additional cost. I was happy to work with Dan the Moving Man and highly recommend them!

I had a 10/10 experience today with my move. Dan and Dylan were prompt, professional and moved everything seamlessly. I would highly recommend them to anyone around. This is the most reasonable quote I found and they exceeded my expectations. I can’t recommend them enough and I will use them in the future as well as recommend to family and friends!

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate Dan and Dillon, emptying my podsat my home in Sparta. It was the best money I ever spent. They are quick efficient no problems no questions asked move things anyway you wanted. They are absolutely the best movers in the area. Thank you guys

Dan & his team did such an amazing job. Very prompt and got to my place ten minutes early to start. I cannot believe they were able to move my entire place to my new place in 4 hours. Amazing! Cannot recommend them enough!

Since there is no way to respond to such a slanderous review that took personal attacks on myself and my crew I feel obliged to write this post.. We did everything we could to be careful and professional throughout our job(protect floors, railings, walls, etc.. At no time were we notified that anything we were doing was out of line or inappropriate.. As it was a hot day we commented on it as a way to hopefully get some cold water which was never offered..
Never have I ever intimidated or threatened anybody in any way, shape or form.. Definitely never said anything about taking your belongings.. I am a nice peaceful person and as I explained to your grandmother we can't work without getting paid for our time.. As you weren't included in any of the monetary discussions it seems you are mistaken.. Everything is by the hour, if you can't afford to pay for more time then we have to cut off the clock.. As I explained we did a lot of extra moving and went over an hour and a half overtime unpaid.. Should we stay and not get paid for our hard work? I am saddened by this more than anything, I don't know why you would say such false things about us and me.. I thought you were nice people.. How could you say such false things about guys who did so much for you??? Nothing condones your actions and lies in an attempt to ruin the company and my name.. I hope you find peace ?

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! we hired them to move us into our new house and firstly, their attitudes were absolutely horrible throughout the process. i get it it’s hot out and you’re lifting heavy furniture but to listen to them complaining abt the job is out of pocket and unprofessional. secondly, they literally threw stuff without even a thought around the old house while moving furniture causing a mess and things to get lost/misplaced. as the list continues, they (steve) quite literally intimidated us by threatening to take our stuff home with them if we didn’t have the full payment for them as they were expecting an extra $250 even though we were only quoted for $1250. of course we paid the extra 250 and not only did they damage a large piece of furniture and couldn’t take accountability but also said to us that staying an extra hour was “charity work” for them. beyond disrespectful and just disgusting to hear this as a paying customer. lastly, they left the job incomplete and now we have to figure out ourselves how to get a bed up the stairs and a huge/tall freezer into the basement. uncalled for behavior, attitudes and disrespect from this company’s employees. as grown men, do better.
