Teachers and staff here are very dedicated to their jobs. My son had Miss Erinn and Miss Kelly and both teachers are wonderful. They work hard with the kids and he would come home learning something new every week. The little projects they do with the kids are adorable!

Love, love, love First Impressions Newton. I trust them completely. My son feels truly loved by his teacher. Mrs Nicole (the owner) really cares for all the children and loves what she does as well as all of the other teachers. Will recommend them to anyone.

The facility is very welcoming, clean and secure you can tell from the second you open the door and the teachers and aids are extremely friendly. What I find very unfair and conflicting however is the billing. I am a brand new mom trying to juggle working full time, lack of sleep, nursing and childcare. It’s extremely expensive and personally taxing but necessary. I don’t love but understand when I hold my son out I am still going to be charged for the days care since I elected to not bring him in. However, when the school is closed for inservice days, holidays, etc. I do not think it is fair to charge me for the days care since they are not watching him and I’m not allowed to bring him in. I still have to go to work on 90% of these none major holidays that they close and would love to bring him. At the least I have asked since he is only in part time, since I’m paying for three days care can I swap the day you are closed with another day in that same week since I have to work and the answer is no unless I want to pay more for that day. When I am paying for three days I should be allowed to swap a day at no extra cost when it’s out of my control what days holidays fall OR not be charged for the day altogether if you will not take my son and I have to stay home from work. If we were talking $50-$100 I really wouldn’t even feel the need to write this. Daycare is thousands of dollars and to take my money and not offer service threw no fault of my own or at the least comparable care options is just so unfair.
Edit: I was told my son was going to get expelled by this program due to this review. As per their “handbook”. First off, detailing provisions in a contract in attempt to strong arm 5 star reviews is immoral. Second, no individual or business can legally inhibit a clients ability to express themselves in a public discourse: it directly contradicts our first amendment right of speech and expression. Im baffled by their course of action. Their attempt to silence my concerns is alarming. This review is neutral, fair, and 100% honest. No matter what, I won’t change my review to 1 star (all though I have every right to) because I conduct my life with honesty and integrity. Anyone can go look at the FTC guidelines. Posting a review is not a threat.

My son has been attending First Impressions since he was an infant back in 2021. He absolutely loves his school and adores all of his teachers. I can't even bribe the kid to take a day off with me because all he wants to do is go to school and be with his friends. I have nothing but great things to say about the staff and management. Everyone is so kind and courteous and treat my child like one of their own.

First Impressions stands out as an excellent preschool that I enthusiastically recommend to those in the vicinity. Nicole and Colleen exhibit remarkable professionalism, and I completely trust them to nurture and ensure the safety of my kids. The premises are always kept in pristine condition, which is vital. Additionally, the staff members are incredibly caring and empathetic.

Words can not describe how in love with this center I am. My son has been going to the center for his entire life, and he is almost 4 years old. He absolutely adores the school and the teachers! It is harder to wake him up on a weekend, then a weekday because he is just so excited to get to First Impressions every day. Miss Julie is currently his other half. She is absolutely so wonderful to my son, and treats him like her own. But not only her, the entire staff at First Impressions just has so much love and care for every child that walks to that door. Sending your kid to any school or daycare is very scary. I cannot express how thankful I am that everybody in this building made it 1000 times easier. Any single time he is in their care, I do not have a worry in the world. Colleen is absolutely amazing at making many of the hard situations of childcare much easier. You can tell she truly cares about everybody who in First Impressions. She always does everything in her power to make sure no parent or child is unhappy. The general aura of this entire center is just filled with happiness and purity. And I am not writing a book because I’m a family member, or anyone closely tied to somebody who works at the center. I don’t even like writing google reviews. I am just a parent who is extremely appreciative of this center playing a huge role in my son’s happiness and growth.

My son has been going to first impressions since my maternity leave ended and we could not be happier with the center! He is well cared for, clean, fed & happy. The smile he gives his teachers when we drop him off each day makes our days at work much easier. Additionally, he is hitting developmental milestones early because his teachers are amazing & helping him learn new things every day. We adore his teachers & are so thankful to have our son in a such a safe and caring environment.

I am so grateful for the care that my daughter has received over the past year (and still counting). First Impressions has become an extension of our family. They facilitate an environment that has helped my daughter grow and build confidence, reach and exceed many developmental milestones all while developing her emotional intelligence. I feel confident dropping her off in their capable hands while I have to work. I know she is save, loved, and secure because she is always excited to go. Thank you for all that you guys do.

My son has been attending First Impressions for the last 3 years and loves everyday with his amazing teachers and friends! He loves “his Ms Ashley!” As a parent, I have such a great peace of mind knowing he is well cared for each day.

At first everything seemed good but slowly things got worse and worse… sometimes my child would sit in the same pull up i would drop him off in not being changed a single time when brought up to the teachers and the director i was lied to… then later on my son comes home with a bruise that when i confronted the teacher had no idea where it came from and when i made the director aware she said “kids just say things to say things” and was never looked into even though i asked multiple times. Very disappointed in this school and for the safety of your child i would NEVER recommend this school to anyone
