They like to play games with your packages, beside workers being lazy and causing major delays on packages in not only this branch but USPS in general. There is a uncountable amount of times have they either lost my packages or refused to leave in my mailbox if it was small enough or get out of the truck to walk the whole 12ft across flat ground to leave it on my front porch if it won't fit in the box. So then they end up taking it back to the post office day after day saying no response at door of residence returned to post office. Which is a lie, since they never even got out of the door to knock which is on camera so I checked and they never so much as even open the door on the truck let alone get out an come knock on the door. Nonetheless we don't have any package restrictions such as leave only if someone present at residence or signature authorization. We have it set to leave on front porch or in mailbox if small enough. What a bunch of liars, even have them lie on the phone to me telling me nobody was home so they did not leave it when they did the same thing 6 times in a row so I wanted to call an see what they had to say when I already knew what was going on by checking informed delivery an reading what the status was. They were speechless when I told them that we do not have a hold unless resident present for delivery and had nothing to say when I said funny cause I was home I can show you on camera they never got out of the mail truck to knock on the door any of those 6 days saying knocked/no one present for delivery. After I told the manager that on the phone they just hung up on me because they knew the screwed up bad an got caught. It's really nice when you have a time sensitive package your supposed to receive by such and such date and your have LAZY employees and mail carriers out here playing games and not caring about your packages.TRUELY UNBELIEVABLE !SHAME ON YOU USPS !

Was supposed to receive a package two days ago, keeps getting delayed, the customer service is a joke, can’t talk to a real person all I get is a robot voice telling me my package now might not arrive until new years. 0/10 of a service, will never use again, strongly recommend not using usps, use ups it’s cheaper and better anyway, and they actually give you information with your tracking number, like your package dimensions and weight, unlike usps

The worst service I ever ever experienced I sent an express mail to a large business .The carrier did not know where the receptionist was or the offices needless to say after 2 attempts the carrier made ( to a wrong location ) . Carrie did not do their job ! There was a number listed on the express mail did not bother to call it ! My express mail was to be returned on the 17th . It was not ! Sat in the post office for 5 days after .The clerk would not listen when I originally was trying to explain where the carrier was to go . She cold not be bothered and was rude! I worked as a carrier for 10 years and have never seen anything like this .Calling the Post master to let him know hat has transpired and requesting a refund from the port office!

Some of the reviews on here are harsh. I am sure true but service has improved. Younger staff have joined this post office and are very helpful and friendly. I have noticed a positive change.

Staff was not helpful. They lost my package. Said sorry we are short staffed. Just thought the staff was lazy and did not want to work

I would give zero stars if I could. DO NOT SHIP IMPORTANT ITEMS. Shipped my fully insured (thankfully) engagement ring through USPS To be repaired by the company who made it all the way in SanFran. LOST MY ENAGEMENT RING 10 MINUTES AFTER DROPOFF and never seen again! When I went there to confront the woman, she said “it left on the five o’clock truck” but it literally said “delayed” 10 mins after I dropped it off (around 4:00) and was never seen again. Thankfully the ring company is making a new ring but imagine they weren’t so kind. This was ridiculous and distressing.

Awful... ordered a large package, Newton office states I refused package and sent it back to sender. I did not refuse. They looked up package and stated it was in my mailbox,( it was a case and would not fit in mailbox) stated I put it back out and refused? Never arrived here to start with.I paid $$ and now they said sorry they can't track it, even though I paid for tracking number. Sender also never received it back.Update: package was found in back of postoffice, has been sitting for over a week, never sent back to seller.

Delivery is beyond terrible! Leaving box deliveries by the mailbox on ground on a very busy road is not considered a good delivery! I have had deliveries taken and once marked delivered by mailbox you loose out on reclaiming your money or merchandise. I have tried to have all my deliveries come UPS or Fedex now but occasionally still have to deal with their incompetence. I don't understand how they can get away with the lack of service.
