My wife and I both had eye exams done and payed cash and all of sudden there is no record of us being there and the doctor there was extremely rude on the phone. Would not recommend this place at all.

It was easy to get an appointment for an exam. It was a thorough and informative eye exam - 2 thumbs up for Dr. Neufeld. There's a good selection of glasses - it was easy to find an inexpensive yet stylish pair to make into my running sunglasses. Thank you!

Went to get new frames and glasses waited for a while then asked for help lady thru the frame's she was working on had a bad attitude so walked out. Now hav to go elsewhere

I stopped in here while visiting from abroad. My experience getting my contacts and glasses prescription with Dr G Neufeld was great, 5/5 stars. I was able to get a same day appointment where he asked me lots of relevant questions and took the time to make sure my script was the best it could be.I decided to come back two weeks later before my flight back to Germany to see if I could pick up a pair of Rx glasses. The blonde woman working on 10 May around 9-10AM acted as if she couldn’t care less to help. First, and slightly petty (though you will understand it presents a pattern later), I walked in and watched her sneeze without covering her face or wiping down her station. Then she was interrupted me repeatedly while I asked if she could look up my glasses prescription in the system. She acted like it couldn’t be done and she couldn’t find it at first - though she admitted she could see the contacts Rx. Finally, I got to having a look at the frame options, and she asked me to put any pairs I tried on but didn’t like on the table. I said, “oh for disinfection?” but she said no, it was because she spent all morning organizing the racks. Cool, so everything at this center is not only covered in your sneeze spit, but every pair of glasses has 50+ people’s fingers all over them?The final straw was when she scolded me, a grown adult, as if I was a 7-year-old child. I was comparing frame sizing between two different sets and she shouted from across the store, “I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO PUT THE PAIRS YOU TRY ON THE DESK” Before I corrected her and told her what the actual situation was, and she backed down saying “oh I thought…”By then, the bad taste she left in my mouth was repugnant. I had to walk out and wished her a good day. If you are shopping for frames, I promise you, none of the frame options available are worth the her attitude.

Teresa was very helpful and made my husband’s optical visit super easy! Will definitely be coming back to Walmart for affordable glasses again in the future!!

I would give none if it was possible. I was given an appointment for my kid at noon. I was on time, the front desk was empty, there was a white coat, not sure if he was the doctor, with someone else maybe 7 to 10 feet away, I pressed the button to call for service but He would not acknowledge us and no one ever came to take our names. Waited 10 minutes for at least someone to say:"Hello, I will be right with tou". We were ignored the whole time so we left. Never coming back, I usually go to total eye care but my husband insisted that walmart was cheaper...yeah does not equate good service.

Dont waste time buying glasses here. Cheap fall apart and Lenses scratch easy yet they tell you they don't. After a year glasses broke and they wanted nothing to do with them mor help to fix just to use them temporarily. Ended up going down the road to another place they gladly fixed glasses to at least use them.

Doctor very friendly. Exam was thorough. Was quoted by front desk a price that was not honored when exam was complete and paid $30 more than what I was told.

We visited Hampton N.J. Walmart vision center this afternoon. 6/6/19 We needed to buy a new frame to replace a frame that was damaged. We told the employee that we would keep the lens and just replace the frame. She looked at the frame and said it cannot be done. Because the frame is rimless we would have to replace the lens as well. We visited a vision center about a mile down the road. We left within a half an hour with NEW FRAMES AND THE ORIGINAL LENS. It was a pleasure to deal with competent employees. Walmart lost a $215 purchase, sad.

The eye dr was great. Really nice guy made you feel relaxed. The older gentleman who was the one who you paid and check in with though shouldn't pressure sell so much. I told him I did not want the anti glare on my glasses because it cost extra and I am poor and paying out of pocket which is why I am going to walmart in the first place. He continued to pressure me saying the almost 50,00 cost was only a few bucks. But to be fair I have a generally horrible experience at this newton walmart every time I go.
