Never, ever again! Went to have my return done on March 16, 2024. Meg Sheeran scheduled my electronic payment to the IRS for Monday, the 17th. I checked on 3/17 and the payment was indeed processed. Case closed, right? No. I receive an IRS letter on 4/12/24 stating that I owe and additional payment to the tune of over $3,000. Called the local office in North Arlington, NJ and my preparer had no time to meet with me because it was crunch time and she was booked through 4/15 (tax day). I had my return prepared in mid-March and she had not time to help correct a mistake that she herself made!? I will pursue non-stop until I get my tax preparation fee of $270 reimbursed, as well as the additional $53.00 "convenience fee" I had to pay the IRS on the 4/12/24 so I would not be penalized for filing the payment late. Shame on your H&R Block and shame on Margaret Sherran for beyond horrible customer service. H&R Block "stands by their returns"? I think not.

Margaret Sheerin never replies. They forgot to file my 2022 return because they said it got "stuck" in the system. And furthermore, I was willing to pay additionally to get my 2021 tax return worked on but they NEVER replied back. Never doing business again with this place; costs expensive to file a simple tax return, and no one replies back

I had my taxes done here and found out when filing at another location the next year that the accountant in North Arlington filed my taxes incorrectly. Fingers crossed I don’t face expensive consequences because of the accountant’s mistake
