I came here for a late lunch, and I left thoroughly disappointed. I had veg samosas for an app, and they tasted frozen. My main was garlic naan and chicken vindaloo. I'm not sure if they messed up my order, but it looked like some sort of chicken curry. I had asked for medium spice, and vindaloo should really start off at that level, with a rich, red color. Unfortunately my dish was not close to that at all. Garlic naan was okay- probably the best part of the meal. The gulab jamun for dessert was 3 tiny pieces, and they tasted like they came from a can. Also served semi cold when it should have been warm. Prices are low for Indian food, but you definitely get what you pay for here. Service is terribly slow even when it's empty. Decor is outdated, and the cutlery and dishware has stains, cracks and chips. Staff is nice, but they are forgetful. Small parking lot, but there's street parking. If you're looking for decent to good Indian food, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

In the mood for Indian food we saw that Kamal Palace had really good reviews. All in, it was worth the trip. The food was not great but it was good. The samosas were a tad oily and the curries were not as flavorful as I would have hoped. However, the service was great and the price can’t be beat. Seriously, we ordered two apps, two dinner plates, and two orders of naan and it came to about $50!

Expensive and tasteless food ! Too narrow space for sitting and not a great ambience. I would rather go somewhere else. We tried Tandoori chicken. Malai chicken, papdi chat, Paneer tikka, gobhi manchcurian, paneer masala, dal special, garlic naan, pinion kulcha and butter naan.Except gobhi manchurian rest everything was below average.

Unfortunately, my dining experience at this restaurant was NOT so great. The food was subpar, lacking in flavor and presentation. Each dish seemed to miss the mark , lacking the freshness and creativity one would expect. The ambience was equally disappointing. Overall, it fell short of expectations, and I wouldn't recommend it to others seeking a enjoyable dining experience.

Well-seasoned foods. When they say something is spicy, it is. The food and portions were very good. The vegetarian options were delicious as well. This is another of those places that I must return to the next time I am in the area.

Visited Sep 19, 2023, Thursday afternoon for lunch. Please note that this place seems to have changed hands in ownership. They don't offer buffet anymore but you can still see the old buffet containers against the wall, not sure what purpose it serve but seems to just take up space and give a kind of wrong impression but anyway, I think not very important.Ambience is good and the place is nice and clean. Was not very busy at the time of my visit. Currently, it seems to be run by a South Indian family, you can see the center piece decoration on the wall and the two paintings one on the right and one one left seems to have been left by previous north Indian owners.Anyways, the food quality is very good.Prices are good. Not too low, nor too high but right where they should be.Service is good. Not the top notch as sometime the limited staff may be busy with other things like at the cash register, dealing with pick up orders and may not be able to pay attention to people at tables. The parking is free and available for a bunch of shops in the small mini market/compound. You may or may not find a parking spot there based on how busy all the shops are at that particular hour.Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend it but the only downside was they taxed each item twice, first the item was taxed and on the total amount it was taxed again. When it was brought to the attention of the staff they said they have recently updated their Clover POS system. But no apology was issued for the incorrect billing and in fact, no correct in the bill was made and they were happy to charge me double taxed sum, which I believe is illegal but I didn't want to ruin my mood for this glitch.

Consistently great food in a simple setting. All the favorites that you would expect-tikka masala, tandoori, samosa, breads-plus some dishes you don't always get a chance to experience. Recommended. Warm and friendly staff are ready to accommodate your level of spice.Vegetarian options: plenty of good choices
