My experience with M&T bank was excellent, thanks to Yvonne Balseca, she helped me with information about opening a checking account and why is was the right thing, I was receiving my social security deposited into a card and Yvonne asked me questions about how I did my banking, I never had a checking account. She was so patient with me that she help me with my direct deposit, now I’m able to save money too thanks to her. A week later I Came back to the branch and she showed how to use the ATM. Thank you M&T.

@ M&T on January-07, 11:30am I had a appointment with Lisandra Vera she was very very very nasty and extremely rude extremely rude to my mother also I never ever went to a bank where you need an appointment I know where in Covid but a lot of banks are running business and I hope the branch manager sees this she should not be working at the bank where you are helping people especially the elderly she was very very rude and nasty

This post is about an employee characterized for being rude, I used to use the ATM at this branch at least twice a week and was thinking to open an account since it was convenient because of the location. BUT the last time I was there I used the ATM machine and walk to buy a soda to a store next to the bank. She came outside and told me that I was allowed to park there only if I was making a transaction at the bank. I told her that I withdraw money from the ATM and I was buying something next door that will take me a minute. She started to call the towing company and said that I have to move my car. I just want to mention that the parking lot was empty as usual. She kept chasing me and yelling to move my car like she was a Police Officer or something. The lady from the store next door came outside and told me that she was like that and that she chases people without any respect, that it was a reason why she preferred to go to the Bank a block from there.

THIS RATING IS ABOUT **THE BANK AND ITS COMPANY**... AND "NOT" THE LOCATION OR ITS EMPLOYEES. Every employee at this facility is professional. I have been working with most of them for decades... since before M&T ruined it by buying it from HCSB. I've been a patron of HCSB for over 2 decades... and when M&T bought them out, I was worried, but I gave them a chance. It's been at least 2 years now, and I CANNOT BALANCE MY CHECKBOOK! I never had any trouble with HCSB, but I discovered the with M&T, pending transactions are never the amount of the actual charge. This is sometimes explained by tip charges on restaurant bills, but often times, the amount of pending transactions is dyslexic and reversed. Example $94.46 vs $94.64... so I'm consistently struggling to balance my checking properly. This has been a frustrating problem since the very first statement, and other than former HCSB bank employees (now M&T employees) acknowledging and validating my frustrations as a common complaint... M&T continued business as usual. The matter is so frustrating... I'm prepared to move my 2+ decades old accounts to my other bank. Not happy at all with M&T SOPs... less impressed with their lack of interest or concern into this problem.
