After stopping at the Krouser’s on the other side of the highway, owned by the same group of people, this guy tells me I have to buy a minimum of a half pound instead of a quarter pound of ham. He tries to bargain with me, and asked me if I can buy a little more than a quarter of a pound.

Bought a ham and cheese sandwich for $6.50 to find that the ham was brown, not even pink like it should be. Went back to let the cashier know, he claims its the “fresher” ham (whatever that even means at this point). I just asked for a refund, and he seemed annoyed that I wasnt happy. Didnt even apologize. Rude as hell!!Ive ordered sandwiches from many places throughout my life, how are you going to tell me that your cold cuts are fresh?! No thanks, I’m better off going to a pizzeria.

Absolutely terrible. Don’t go here. If I could give 0 stars I would. I walked in to buy 1 $5 scratch off as a birthday present and was told “no” as they were “closing in 2 minutes”. The clerk was standing at the other register, refusing to help me and was not helping any other customers.I wasn’t asking for anything that would take more than a couple seconds so 2 minutes was plenty of time. Terrible customer service and absolutely not willing to help at all whatsoever with a simple purchase.

It is your typical Krauszers. They have everything you need, you run in and out and the guys behind the counter are very nice.

I wish I knew where I can actually complaint about this store. From selling expired milk to over priced items to not using gloves when handling the bread. One day a butter roll costs 1.50 and the next day will cost you .75 cents. Many of their items do not have any prices on it and the prices become a surprise when you are at the counter ready to pay. One of their latest scheme, adding additional cents into your transaction when paying with a credit card. This place needs an inspection from all aspects. The only reason I'm giving one star is to be able to post a review.

This is just a typical Krauszer's: depressing and uninviting decor with a mixture of processed junk food, old canned goods, and ancient non-foods, set against a backdrop of half a dozen mildly chilled refrigerators stocked with most of your favorite soft drinks (arguably the safest thing to purchase here), a poorly stocked ice cream freezer that's inexplicably right below the checkout counter which itself is stocked with cigarette lighters, "tobacco" accessories, tiny flowers inside of crack pipes, and the ever-present lottery machine. If Hell exists and had a convenience store, Krauszer's would be it. Good luck complaining to Krauszer's corporate offices; their corporate office is located somewhere in North Brunswick but good luck trying to find a corporate web site, email address, or phone number online. The accompanying pictures are of a half gallon of Turkey Hill ice cream that I (unfortunately) purchased on July 26, 2018 from this specific Krauszer's. It was clearly melted and refrozen, and it looks like a scoop was taken out of the middle somewhere along the line. This, again, is typical of Krauszer's. Seek out the nearest QuickChek instead. As of this writing there are two in North Brunswick. Comparing QuickChek to Krauszer's is like comparing the finest gourmet filet mignon dinner you could possibly imagine with a wad of used chewing gum stuck under the toenail of a homeless crack addict.

Krauser's: an ancient Lenape word meaning "poor hygiene of employees" You'd be forgiven for that assessment, given the horrific conditions on both sides of the counter for some local outlets. Happy to report that this location is a step up from those, and is clean and neat, with friendly and engaged staff!
