Felt like a piggy bank being shaken for my last dime. I went in there for the first time looking just for oil chnage. Was hoping to make this my new mechanic spot, since old mechanic sold business. Got told by guy behind the desk at Midas the mechanic recommends "transmission flush" and I agreed to it. The price wasn't said, he just added it to the computer. When I sat down and looked up at the sandwich board with prices on it. I saw the flush was $119. I sighed and was "okay, I agreed to it that's on me." So now instead of $120 oil change. I'm looking at a $300 service job.
But then the guy behind the desk comes back from the shop and says my back two tires are bad. That they have about a month left on them. I tell him honestly that: "I'll have to wait till next months pay check to handle that." And he says "okay, but just to let you know I have the tires here." And again, the price of these new tires, like the transmission flush, are not discussed.
And at that moment I felt like a piggy bank to this Midas. Not a customer. I walked in for a oil change and now I am paying more without a price or total being given. Do I feel valued?
Also, the mechanic couldn't even write the correct mileage for the next oil change. On the upper landhand side of my windshield it says the reminder as 76,387. But my cars current mileage is 76,550. So how does that make sense? My cars next oil change is when the mileage goes down? I pay $300+ for service and I can't even get the mechanic to add 3,000 to my current mileage? (HAVE PICTURES AS PROOF)
Honestly, I felt terrible with the experience at this Midas. Prices were not discussed the board does the talking. I felt like a piggy bank being shaken for my last penny.

Left parts disconnected that lead to more damage to my vehicle and charged me thousands in repairs i may not of needed. Still couldn't find the check engine light problems after over a week of having the car. Took to dealer and found issue in 2hr and let me know the issues from midas not properly putting my vehicle back together adding to the cost of repair. STAY AWAY. They act friendly but cost you in the end.

They have an advertising for $35 OR $20 off oil change and tire rotation. It’s as lie. I wanted JUST an oil change. They tried to say the tire rotation is free and my car was too new but did not think to mention that at all. End up paying $91. Will never come here again
