“Prices are a bit high but you will most definitely find good quality produce (not sure about meat, drinks, shelf items etc) as far as a alkaline diet is concerned you will find sour orange, cactus, cactus pears, Dominican avocados, baby and burro bananas, watercress, cilantro macho, hot peppers, plum tomatoes etc.”

“The food here is extremely delicious. The cashier and chef are also so nice. It was surprising for me to find out the Chef was vegan and cooking the meals so well and flavorful. My husband and I are in here once a week- our favorite has been their Chop cheese.
They have a sign for the chop cheese being a guaranteed return choice and its 1000% true.”

“This is a great store. I've been using it for about a year since I moved to this area. Staff are friendly. However, can the manager please tell the cashiers to remind everyone that each register has a line! Or perhaps you could put a sign? I used to go to the one in Union (which is much busier) but the cashiers always made announcements that each register had a line. Thank you.”

I have came to this location twice, and the store interior is well organized, and offers a variety of different things. Seems popular, judging off how filled the parking lot is.”

“In the sleepy little town of South River, who knew that you could find a treasure trove of authentic Portuguese restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. Cavaco Supermarket is known in town as the go-to Portuguese deli, grocery, and bakery. The shelves are even stocked with products imported from Portugal. On the front counter, you'll find a variety of fresh baked breads, codfish fritters and turnovers, pastries, as well as of course espresso. In addition, they are a churrasqueria and offer delicious BBQ chicken, served in a giant tray over rice and fries. Their pastries, such as their bola de berlim and pastel de nata I'm not too much of a fan of compared to other spots in town, but their chicken and codfish fritter was delicious and their fries are even fresh cut. Take a look at their various imported goods and merchandise and you'll certainly be surprised!”
“First time at this store and I was pleasantly surprised. It's huge. They have foods from all over the world. It's primarily a Spanish product store but they have everything. Their meat department is the nicest I've ever seen. You can tell it's super fresh. Produce aisle is spectacular. The store is immaculate. The prices are also very good and employees are very friendly and helpful”
“Aldi is a great specialty grocery store with interesting options and very good prices.
The ONLY reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that a lot of their packaged food has BIOENGINEERED ingredients.
Something to keep in mind if you care about that sort of thing.”

“A nice Spanish market conveniently located on Main Street. A great selection of fruits and vegetables. The meat and deli area looks clean. I have not tried any of their cuts. The staff is friendly, and quite generous! If you spend over a certain amount of money, they literally start handing you free stuff! I love this place!”
“This is just a little corner store that's very convenient usually have everything you're looking for from tampons all the way to a bag of potato chips from razors all the way to homemade sandwiches basically what I'm trying to say is check them out you have a variety of things you just got to know what you're looking for because to be a corner store they got it...”

Fresh, flavorful dominican food in all of new jersey and this place is always clean!
And it's dominican cooking the food not hired help from south of the border cooking.
They serve the best pernil, the best ox tails, empanadas, steak sandwiches.
I travel far to come here to get authentic Dominican food.”
“Used to do a lot of my shopping in college here. Moderately priced and good quality products especially porkchops. Staff was always pretty nice and they even sold Dominican food here too cafeteria style. Some great memories here.”
“Eunice has a unisex hair salon in the back of the store. The barber does a great job with cutting my husband's hair. We always buy Malta Guniness and other Ghanaian products there. It's a nice and clean atmosphere that offer a variety of West African products.”

“I've been getting delivery orders for a little over a year. Fresh items, consistently on time and rarely out of stock. The only thing I can say is keep an eye on any substitutions that are for something that's part of a deal. If that happens call the store. They're super accommodating. I spoke with Josh today for this very issue. He took care of it right away. Once or twice I've had a quality issue(i.e. vacuum sealed hot dogs not vacuum sealed). They happily issued a refund. I've also spoken with other employees. They were all super nice! Great team!”
