My wife enjoyed browsing around on her 1st visit to this store. She especially liked the petite section. Two negatives, however. First, it was quite difficult to get into the shopping center. Traffic patterns in the area made entry hard from US 130 northbound. Even with GPS, it was not clear or easy. 2nd, their sale signs were misleading and unclear. Even the clerk on duty had to look up the scanner code in the computer because she wasn't sure what the sign said either--which items were on sale and which ones weren't.

I had a wonderful shopping experience at Talbots in North Brunswick! The store is well-organized, making it easy to find what I was looking for. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great style advice without being pushy. They had a fantastic selection of classic clothing. Prices are a bit on higher side. The quality of their pieces is good,and the checkout process was quick and smooth. Their collection is limited though

When I go to the store, some strange thing was happened ?
Originally, I planned to. stay int he store for 8 minutes, wanted to look some nice clothes and pants,
but soon, the store owner9a white-haired women, around 50-60 years old) told me I am not allow to stay this store, I need to be get out, which was very rude way, bad behavior, they should apologize for this cowardly, selfish behavior, because they disrespect the customers,
In the future, I will never go to this small store!

The team on staff on the day of my visit were not helpful, friendly or knowledgeable. When I entered the store, there were but a handful of customers. While store staff could be seen shuffling through inventory, not one looked up to offer a greeting. I spent more than a half hour trying on various items. No matter how many times I left the fitting room, in various states of undress, to obtain different sizes, not one of the employees offered assistance. The worst part of the experience came when I was ready to pay. The store had a promotion going that provided for 30% off all tops and I had a mailed coupon for 40% off one full-priced item. (I was looking to purchase a full priced pair of pants and a sweater). I presented the staff with my coupon but was told I was not eligible for the discount. The manager was brought into the dispute and she reiterated that I did not hold a qualifying account with the store and that only certain Talbots customers paying with their premier credit cards were eligible for the discount. I left the store. When I got home, I went to Talbots.com, ordered the same items and received the Discounts without any question. It was bad enough being treated like I somehow wasn’t a worthy customer but it was worse knowing that the staff doesn’t even know what promotions the company is offering. Be careful, at this location you may end up paying full price for something that is actually on sale.

Today I went into the store to shop and 3 ladies were working there. One said hello but never asked if I need help. They went on talking about ones husband his health issues, one pocketbook being broken, hour one was working tomorrow and Saturday and something one bought on line and how she should wear it like Trumps daughter. I ask a price on a tee shirt and got a answer.

So far the most unfriendly talbots store i have gone to. I have shopped with talbots for almost 10 years now. I entered this store said hello to 3 associates none of them responded for all the 3times so i walked out; am guessing they didn't care. Poor customer service.

The quality of the clothes at Talbot's is never in question but it is the staff here that keeps me coming back. They are pleasant and friendly and it is obviously they like each other. They are a great team.
