PROS: Very nice thrift store I just found the other day on Yelp. People that work there are very nice and there is great variety. The place is clean and organized with a lot of parking CONS: some of the stuff tends to be overpriced. The board games being notorious for that OVERALL: I definitely will come back here when I'm in the area. It's a nice thrift store non the less. I would just stay away from the board games

I often donate a lot of items new and lightly used but in great condition. The prices can sometimes are a bit higher than expected just because it’s a high quality brand, it’s not worth it especially if it really does not look in great condition. I randomly shop for small things I also see new jewelry from paparazzi at a higher price when all paparazzi jewelry are 5 dollar because I use to sell them . I also see free items for sale like Victoria’s secret’s and some of Macy’s gift when you purchase a gift. Lastly a lot of the volunteers are great except for 2 people a man with grayish color hair and a Hispanic lady who sometimes are at the cashier. I went an purchased some items he saw I had a coffee mug he mentioned next time I can’t bring any drinks to the store. I clearly just took it out from my purse to get my wallet. Really that’s what you’re looking at I'm paying that’s means I’m leaving with my mug in my purse. The lady who handled my transaction was trying to rush me out call the next client, wait until I leave and then proceed. I’ve also had her before she always seems to have an attitude.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ditto Upscale Resale of NJ in North Haledon, and I couldn't be more impressed with this thrift store gem. From the moment I walked in, I knew I had stumbled upon a treasure trove of affordable and high-quality finds. The first thing that struck me was the incredible variety of items they had in stock. Whether you're in search of clothing, furniture, home decor, or practically anything else, Ditto Upscale Resale has you covered. The best part? Everything I browsed through was in impeccable condition. It's clear that they take great care in curating their inventory. But what truly sets this store apart is its outstanding customer service. The staff at Ditto Upscale Resale are not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable about their products. They were more than willing to help me find exactly what I was looking for and even provided some great decorating tips along the way. It's rare to find such a level of personalized attention in a thrift store, and it made my shopping experience all the more enjoyable. Moreover, the store's layout is well-organized and clean, making it easy to navigate and find hidden treasures. The prices were reasonable, and I left with some fantastic bargains that I couldn't have found anywhere else.In summary, Ditto Upscale Resale of NJ is a true gem among thrift stores. The variety, quality, and customer service are exceptional, and I can't wait to return for another shopping adventure. Whether you're a thrifting enthusiast or just looking for unique finds, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Ditto Upscale Resale of NJ. You won't be disappointed!

I enjoy and love shopping at Ditto! I’ve have nothing but great experiences whenever I visit. Volunteer workers are friendly and supportive. I needed a dresser for my in-laws and found one at a reasonable price with wheels ?. It was an antique and my in-laws loved it. In addition, I love shopping for my holiday decorations. It’s a great place to shop and get great deals. ??

I have driven by this store few times and took the time out to go in today. Walked right in with my child and my 2 pound teacup chihuahua in a pet duffle bag which was attached to my chest and the only thing exposed was my chihuahuas head, and immediately was told that I couldn't be in the store with my dog, no hello , greeting nothing. I do understand stores policies with actual leased dogs (which was not posted anywhere outside, only how the store is not child proof) but I just kinldy continued to ask if I still could browse since my dog was in a contained pouch but worker said no. I ended up leaving right away, and unfortunately I won't ever be back again. ? ?

I always find some great items here! They have a good variety of clothing, housewares, and little trinkets. The volunteers/workers are so kind and helpful. It is always a pleasant experience shopping here. They have upped their prices considerably though so I took off a star.

This is the best thrift store in both Bergen and Passaic counties. I don't understand the bad reviews about the high prices - have you been to ANY other thrift store in the area? They are nowhere near the quality of Ditto. Maybe their prices are a bit higher (not really, and they always have sales), but every item is quality and thoroughly checked through, from what I hear. Other thrift stores offer junk, but this one doesn't. It's super clean, well-organized, and doesn't smell - where else can you find that? I also appreciate that this is a ministry that supports a school and various other local causes. If I'm going to spend money, I'd rather spend it in a place like that than any of the other thrift stores that offer sub-par items (sure, at dirt cheap prices) that, in my opinion, may be questionable in terms of quality and hygiene.

Unfortunately I just had a very disappointing experience at Ditto. I was in the store with my daughter and our dog who is in training to become a service dog for my daughter who is Epileptic. A fellow shopper approached me and asked if she may say hello to my dog, and because we encourage people to learn about service animals, as long as someone doesn't approach him without asking I allow them to say hello. My dog was being well behaved and not disturbing anyone. The moment I allowed the lady to put her hand out to let my dog sniff it a man who works in the store IMMEDIATELY ran up telling me "if that dog was truly a service animal, you wouldn't be allowing it to interact with people." My response was simply " we like to promote awareness about how to approach and interact with service animals. As long as I am asked if he can be approached we allow it." He continued to tell me that if he were a true service animal I wouldn't allow it, I responded by telling jimtthat not everyone does things one way and that's not wrong. He continued to argue with me and told me not to push it- as though he was attempting to intimidate me. I told my daughter to put down the items we were about to purchase, I also put down mine and we left. This happened about ten minutes ago. I am SO disappointed.

Best place to buy any holiday items also so much fun to browse all their wares anytime. Seniors get 10 % on Wednesdays and they usually have sales which are posted by the door as you walk in or on their website. The money they get from purchases is donated to hp those suffering from lupus. Great upscale thrift store.

I LOVE DITTO!! There are so many great unique finds! They have a large selection of books from many genres! I also love that the bibles on the shelves are free! Ditto also has very nice costume jewelry and pins. If you haven't gone to Ditto, you need to check it out! You won't be disappointed!

Ummm I come in for literally 20 min and the lady that works there came up to me three times first staring at me like I’m crazy than complaining about my son a three year old that his trucks might scratch up the floor if I can refrane him from using the truck in the store . 1. You sell toys 2. He’s 3 years old 3. He wasn’t bothering anyone 4 l. You can go kick rocks you obvsly don’t have kids it’s shows honey uses to come here often never coming back again send her negative energy back 10 fold. SMART TIP: don’t sell toys if you don’t want kids to use them ;)

Love this store! We don't live close, but try to get up there at least once a month. Great selection, good quality things and good prices. No one, including the grandkids , ever leave empty handed !
