I used their drive thru ATM to withdraw money from my Ecuadorian bank, it was $300 the money left my account but the atm never gave me my money, I walked into the building told them and they said well since it wasn’t a capital one account we can’t do anything call your bank, my bank says this completely depends on CAPITAL ONE and that the process can take up to 90 business days, this money was for my kids Christmas presents. The phone number they gave me was the worst experience to the extend that the agent said let me explain you how it works in America… I should’ve filed a police report for this. I’ll close my accounts and my fiancée’s I can’t trust this bank anymore

the ATMs at this bank are not in good condition they always take your money and won’t deposit it in your bank account, please replace them or fix them at least. I had to call the bank because the ATM took all my money and didn’t deposited in my account so please be aware of this.

I tried to make a cash deposit at the ATM at this location and it ate my cash without depositing it into my account. I told the teller what happened and he replied simply “okay call the number on the machine”I called to ask to speak to a manager for help and was told that there is NO manager who works at this branch.

Those people need to know what customers service means. What a poor customer service in this bank I'm definitely closing my account with them. I don't recommend it ?

I used to LOVE Capital One bank and card and I thought they were the best I have ever banked with. Recently, it seems as though their customer service has declined immensely. I will be looking for another establishment to bank with this weekend. Also, I was at the North Plainfield location on Friday and I was told that the location did not have managers who worked at the bank. I called customer service and she said there was a note on my account to have a manager speak with me. It’s been 3 working days, no phone call. I would imagine the note miraculously disappeared.

My credit card got moved from Comenity Bank to Capital One effective today. I received my new card about 10 days ago in the mail with instructions to activate it today, 2/27/23. I followed the instructions and quickly activated my card. The instructions said after successfully activating the card to set up my new online account. This is when the problem started. Capital One activated my card but apparently could not identify me in their system. I called customer service and over 2 hours and 15 minutes later the help desk were unable to assist me in accessing my account. I was told that my issue was isolated and that they would elevate my concern and that I would hear back in 8-10 days. When I mentioned going to the bank in person the individual online stated that it was unnecessary and that the bank branch would have the same issue and to wait. When I pushed the issue the person said that I should try to access my account tomorrow and that she would call me back at 6pm. My first experience with Capital One and my first impression is very poor. I’ve been banking with other competing banks for 50 years now and never experienced anything like this.

The customer service at this branch is horrible. I've been a customer for about 10years I have 2 credit cards a checking and savings and a car loan. They tellers at this branch act like your doing them a favor by banking there. I had enough I go to the branch in Iselin the customer service is so much better.

One of the worst location capitol one has, the employees never help out and are quick to give you the round around as long as they do not have to work.

Very unprofessional service from my experience in that branch and because of their bad service that I received i lost the time frame to close a good deal. Opened an account a couple months ago and now i am working on closing it.

Extremely rude service then they had the nerve to ask why I’m withdrawing money . My money that I deposited in an account , never been asked such a stupid question . Really rethinking using this bank all together.

I'm not sure if this should be posted here but here goes. I was approved for a Capital One credit card in September. I got a text message saying that I should receive it by October 4 and then I could activate the card. Well guess what? NO CARD!! Today is November 12 and NOTHING!! I have had problems with my mail at home because the idiot mailman probably gave it to the wrong person. So I called Capital One saying I needed a new card as I never received the first one and I also asked them to change it to my work address as I don't trust the USPS. The guy said he would send me a new card. Well I called to find out what was going on and apparently he never send the second card, not sure why? Why did he lie? But he did change my address to my work address. I called to get another card but like I said, I'm still waiting. Customer Service is absolutely no help!! Why is it so difficult to get a credit card from you? I mean it's not rocket science, is it? I'm just so frustrated right now!! I'm thinking my best option would be to go to Capital One in person and ask them for a credit card. I doubt I will ever get one in the mail. Right now I could scream!!
