“We were recently on vacation in Cape May and started having transmission trouble. We took our car to a nearby garage and they hooked it to the computer diagnostics and it was confirmed it was a transmission issue but they stated they did not have time to repair it and to check around with other garages. We did book an appointment the next day at another repair shop but then made a call to S&E Auto Repair and I am so glad we did! When we told Scott about the issue we were having he immediately knew what the problem was and even offered to do some investigating on his end to confirm (a nationwide recall.) Scott took a chunk of time out of his very busy day to assist us when he was not even going to make a dime on us, since it was a recall issue. He confirmed the information and advised us what our next steps should be. If it wasn’t for Scott we could have faced a very hefty repair bill at the other garage. We ended up having the car towed several hundred miles back home to the dealership for the covered repairs. We can not even begin thank Scott enough for his kindness, his help and his honesty!”
“My engine light was on and flashing We were vacationing in Cape May. Patty at the Periwinkle Inn recommended Chip at the Cape Auto Repair Shop. We were returning to Deleware the next day. I called and Samantha was so kind and helpful. She spoke with Chip and they said to bring my car right in. They went out of their way to assist us. Wonderful people, skilled staff. I highly recommend their services.”

“I wrote a previous review incorrectly. Caliber provided excellent and timely service replacing the back hatch on my 2016 Town and Country Mini Van. The van was sparkling when I picked it up and they made the transition from drop off and my car rental seamless. The office staff kept me updated on the progress of the repair throughout the process. “I had an issue with my vehicle while on vacation with my family. My vehicle had to be fixed or I wasn't getting home. Called Shepanski's and they fit me into their busy appointment scheduled. They fixed the problem in a couple of hours. The bill was incredibly reasonable. I would recommend Shepanski's to everyone. Not too many honest, reputable mechanics/car repair businesses left. Outstanding service. Completely satisfied with my experience!”

“I had a really fantastic experience with O'Briens Auto Repair. I messaged Jim via Yelp on a weekend when my check engine light came on during vacation. Jim was able to diagnose my car first thing Monday morning (other shops i had called couldn't get me in until mid-week), which brought me and my family peace of mind. He was kind, courteous, and answered all of my questions. He diagnosed my problem well and made the necessary repairs for a reasonable price. The new part also came with a 2 year warranty! I'm really happy to have a good auto mechanic for our visits down the shore. Be sure to call or message O'Briens if you have any car issues when you're in the Wildwood/Stone Harbor/Cape May area!”

“While traveling Atlantic City Expressway, we (and 2 other vehicles) ran over an object (none of us saw what it was), roadside assistance came and assisted in putting on the donut tire. We traveled to Stone Harbor (40 miles), called our dealership, they told us we had to have our car towed to their dealership in PA. My husband called Art at the Shell Service Station, the following day,,and he was able to order 2 new tires for the back of our car, within 5 hours! We were in and out of the Service Station within 1 hour on that day! Thank you so much Jerry and Art for such terrific service! Service Center's like yours are almost a thing of the past. We appreciate your service and look forward to seeing you every trip to Cape May and filling up with gas!”

I was heading to a wedding in Avalon, NJ, from NYC; I got a flat tire on the turnpike, but to make it to the wedding, I had to get to Avalon; it was late at night. “Stopped to get some maps we were driving back to Florida instead of flying. Hadn't done that since 2005.Annette mapped trip out for us & suggested using the Cape May- Lewes ferry, saved us drive time & fuel. Reasonable rates. We left on a Sunday early ferry ⛴ & were home by noon on Wednesday. “Got a Volvo xc90 all the MIL lights are on jack doesn't work on volvo. That's okay he's reasonably priced and still worked on my car... he did notice some problems and he changed the oil! Highly recommended!”
