I would caution anyone to use this credit union. Reed, the branch manager in Northfield, is unbelievably rude. His customer service skills are non-existent.I opened my account and closed it within a week.

I have been banking with Jersey Shore FCU for approximately 20 years and they have convenient locations, excellent staff, very clean facilities, and are very willing to help you with all of your banking needs. Also convenient is they DO NOT charge an ATM fee if you use it at any WaWa store.

The two bank associates were excellent they were trying their professional best to assist me. The manager stated that payroll would be upset.The manager stepped in and stop the process that was 2minutes from finishing and closed the bank. This caused me to go to Walmart to finish getting money orders.Manager needs more training in customer service.

I have had alot of different banks in the past, their is real humans here and they don't treat you like a number. I've never been charged any type of stupid fees for low balances or not having enough money in my account. I will use them when I get any type of loan and /or credit card in the future.

No matter if I walk into the branch, use the drive thru or call the member service is amazing!! The staff at JSFCU is extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable!! JSFCU is a wonderful community credit union and they offer amazing products and services to their members!!

Please do not put your money here. The customer service is absolutely atrocious. I had a decent opening deposit (40K) and full intentions of starting a long term relationship with a financial institution that wasn't apart of the "Big Bank" blood arena; I spoke with a teller that was on their phone the entire time, and didn't introduce themselves or even ask my name. I literally had to "pull teeth" to get the APY rates and account types available. The teller was a white male and I'm a black woman, so maybe it was misogyny maybe it was racism, I won't speculate on that here, but I know I felt demeaned and less than from the first moment I stepped through the door all the way through to my complaint with the manager. The manager stated it must "just" be "personality differences" and encouraged me to still open my account, without providing even a decent or sincere apology. I'm a FINRA licensed Broker with over 10 years experience in the financial industry and never ever ever from NY to CA have I been treated to such barbaric service. I'm currently in the process of making a discriminatory complaint to their regulators and just want to warn as many Americans as possible to STAY AWAY. Both Agent Frank V and Manager Valerie let it be known that their allegiance to one another, is stronger than their allegiance to the Compliance policies of their regulators, and their allegiance to their prospective and current customers. Bank with dignity, Bank elsewhere. If you are looking for alternatives, personally I have found a better safer experience at ABCO.

Thursday July 29,2021 I was in the drive thru at the Northfield, Nj location and they closed it early. Do not listen to the website times . The drive thru closes at 5 pm just like the lobby does. If it's past 5 pm save yourself the trip and don't go.

I've been with Jersey Shore for over 20 years and wouldn't bother going to any other financial institution, they are extremely Fair, friendly and professional. I have never felt like I was being taken advantage of, as I have it many other financial institutions.

Great bank. Fees are minimal. Only problem is the customer service department is run by Karen’s who live to fight about stupid stuff. Ask a simple question they will fight you over it refuse to respond to emails and insist you call them or they won’t answer. Even though it’s a general question even an account holder could ask. Multiple incidents with their customer service department. Everyone else is fine.
