We've been going to this mart for many years. And we liked shopping here until today how the customer service lady treated us.😡 We called at 11am, 3/30/2025 Sunday morning and complained 2 beef chuck short rib packs we got. Definately something was wrong with the quality. The meat had black discoloration inside the muscle fiber. The customer service lady said it was because of the blood. We explained the blood was drained over 8 hrs in cold water. Then she said the black discoloration was a sign of freshness. Come on!🤬 Did she think we were stupid to believe that???!!! We got upset from her voice tone over the phone. Then she said she was busy and tried to hang up the phone. Before she hung up, She asked us to bring the meat to the store and show. But we just trashed it. No need refund. Great customer service you got🙏

I am giving a low rating because there is no such thing as customer service unless you are Korean. The store itself is great and clean - produce selection, food court, etc. the ladies at the checkout have no idea how to speak to non Korean people. The Korean ladies are pleasant to Koreans but any other Asian or Non-Asian demeanor completely changes. The Spanish ladies are on another level of rude. Zero smiles and scold and dismiss you no matter what race you are! Maybe they are used to being spoken to in that harsh rude way and maybe don’t even realize how they sound. It is so off putting. Another encounter- My son and I ordered Woori chicken which we love. I usually order the chicken platters for parties and have had no issues. This particular instance, the lady took my order, took my money and said it will take 25 min. Okay, we’ll go shopping. We come back and tells me your 20 piece is almost ready. It’s ready and she insists I give her the receipt to check the order number. I’m the only person there at 630pm with now bags of groceries and she wants me to dig around for a receipt. She just told me what I ordered. So awkward! She wouldn’t budge, so had to drop everything and look. Really??!!!!!

Huge selection of Asian ingredients especially Korean. The seafood selection is decent and produce section is a hit or miss. The food stalls are good though and they have change.

No frills as my hubby calls but does the quick shop on asian groceries. Also love the tofu/soy milk place, fried chicken and mandoo little vender shops too. Get a membership and build points to get discounts

There was an older cashier woman, but her attitude and way of speaking were very bad. I don't know she is owner or employee, but this woman needs some lesson.

I have something to tell about shopping at Woo-Ri Mart. Rating from 1 to 5 1 been low to 5 been high.
Prices a 5.
Clean 3.
Asian vegetables 4 they don’t have everything and some of the veggies are not fresh.
Other foods 5, cans and Asian dry noodles
Convenience of shopping 4
Staff 5
Concession stands 3 The chicken is dry and their soups cold.
Fish area 2 smell horribly
Meats 5 a good variety but expensive.
Cold cuts 5 and I do not advise buying their cold cuts.
The Woo-Ri card they you apply and get doesn’t give you any discounts at all until you have reached a certain amounts of purchasing dollars at the store. (Whoopi)
Folks overall experience and food is definitely a solid 3.
If anyone says they deserve more must not been honest with their ratings.

This is a Korean supermarket. Similar kind of H-Mart. I go shopping here frequently. You can find most Korean groceries here. My American friends say that this place has fresh fish and vegetables. I wish Woo-Ri carries more organic groceries.

Numbers of Korean cashier ladies gave me very hard moments for bringing a service animal and it was humiliating.
One of the ledies loudly raised the voice to make me stay away from her while I was just trying to reach out to a shopping cart.
I was also accused for the documents (which I had but I believe it's illegal to ask) then they kept on backtalking about us which I could hear from the aisle.
By then, I lost all my energy to continue shopping, decided to leave. Even till then, I felt their unpleasant glares.
Never in my life I had such unwelcoming and panicking experience at the grocery store. Staff manager must teach those ladies some manners and a common knowledge not to attack a customer with disabilities / different circumstances.

Service Terrible. Unfriendly. Do not go. These are employees who forget menu orders and get angry at customers. I understand why Starbucks stock price has plummeted.

This review is for the dumpling place inside woori mart. Service is horrible, dumplings are sub par. The woman working in the front gives you dirty looks for trying to order dumplings. I’m so confused by the interaction. Do not recommend at all.
