Arelys is absolutely amazing! She takes care of both me and my son and we couldn't happier. For me, she does my Brazilian blowouts, roots, and highlights, and my hair always comes out smooth, shiny, and natural looking. She really knows color and makes sure everything blends perfectly. For my son, who is VERY picky about his hair, she's the only stylist he trusts. She's patient, listens to him, and always gives him exactly the cut he wants. It's such a relief to have one stylist who can handle it all for our family with such skill and kindness. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a true professional who also makes you feel comfortable in the chair!

I cannot say enough great things about Arelys. My hair was extremely damaged when I first saw her, and I honestly thought it couldn't be saved. She not only brought my hair back to life, but she also took the time to explain what she was doing and how I could take care of it at home. The results were amazing! My hair feels and looks healthy. On top of her skills, she's so kind, patient, and really listens to what you want. If you're looking for someone who truly cares and knows how to transform damaged hair, I highly recommend her!

Ever since deciding to grow out my hair, I struggled finding a barber that was skilled at cutting longer hair until I decided to give TANIA a shot. I highly recommend TANIA due to her knowledge, confidence and attention to feedback which will continue to make her a great choice for any client.

First time coming here for root touch up/haircut/blow out and will definitely not be the last. Very accommodating with my requested appointment time. Tania was excellent and did just exactly what I requested. Place was clean and aesthetic too. Highly recommend!

I recently visited High Street for a money piece/face frame, haircut, and blowout, and I am beyond thrilled with the results! Shane truly understood my vision and gave me a fresh, flattering look that perfectly frames my face. The attention to detail during the haircut was amazing, and the blowout left my hair feeling soft, voluminous, and full of life. Shane is not only incredibly talented but also kind, professional, and really listens to what you want. I couldn’t be happier with my experience—highly recommend!

I would definitely recommend coming to High Street Cuts, it was my first coloring my hair and I was nervous at first but Mrs. Shane not only knows exactly what she’s doing but she also eased my worries! She got the exact color I wanted and it wasn’t too much but it wasn’t too little it was just perfect and I’m so thankful! Will definitely be coming back ! 🤍

The best experience, Tania has always dye, braid and style my hair and she does a amazing job, she would take care of your hair and you would always look good on her hands. She does kids cuts too and she is really good. I love her job ♥️

I recently started going to High Street Cuts in Nutley on a recommendation. I have been there several times already & would like to give total recognition to Arelys. She is professional, never makes me wait nailed my color 1st time, her prices are not astronomical. She gives a wonderful blowout, I have v frizzy curly hair & she blows my hair out perfectly. I also would like to add I am a seasoned hairdresser & not the easiest to please. I highly recommend trying Arelys at HSC ?

This was the second time on Friday I visited here since June for a blow dry/flat iron to straight hair. Last time in June, I worked with Shane and on Friday, I worked with Arelys! Both are very friendly and a joy to talk to, however I have extremely curly hair and you’d think professional hair stylists know what to do to ensure the hair is straightened properly so it at least would last till the next few days as I was getting my hair styled for an important event both times. But nope!Once I left after seeing Shane, my hair started curling again and by the next day, it was a frizzy mess… thankfully Shane was able to fix my hair properly and this time it actually lasted a few days like it should have. On Friday, I told Arelys about this and asked her to please flat iron well so my hair doesn’t curl back up right away. That same night into the next morning it was messed up in so many places and I was told no one could fix it the next day.Neither of them know how to blow dry and straighten curly hair properly the first time or there is lack of effort…so unfortunately I don’t think I will return anymore.

After the visit I have my long blond hair back! Great job with highlights and removed yellow undertones. Highly recommend.
