I paid 3.50 to use their atm which only gave 20’s and when I went inside there was only one other customer and I asked a teller if they could break the 20 and they said they could not if I did not have an account with them. I just paid 3.50 to get a 20 from their atm - the bank was empty and they could not break a 20? Not cool.

Most incompetent workers and rudest manager/head. I would go there for the simplest of things and then be told “We don't do that here.” The big lady is too lazy to do her job. I'd drive all the way out to another Lakeland/provident bank for them to do it in a matter of seconds. Plus they once messed up my euro exchange deposit and that took ages to sort out. GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION!!!

I really wish Lakeland didn't constantly cut off my debit card for suspicious fraud. I know they're trying to protect customers but it's a little much. Often I cannot make purchases using my card at certain very reputable online stores. It's very selective of who they trust. I make purchases often with certain US stores that are directly and obviously relatable to my business, but it still flags the companies as fraud and they have been around forever. I cannot even use the card at Home Depot or Lowes online. It's hit or miss when they will block your card. I have the funds, but they choose to not let me use it at many vendors. For that reason I am not very happy with my bank. The local workers are great but this needs to change (corporate) issues with constant fraud checks. It's overkill. I also am not able to use it with any Canadian company online.

Save yourself time. Lakeland bank is waste of time go to a real bank. So happy I left months ago and went to Chase! The people at Chase are great, I will say nutley Lakeland had a nice manager but the rest of the bank wasn’t good at all. Old technology and the mobile app didn’t work. Save your time go with Chase :)

I was denied a checking account because of "911". This is a "community" bank. If you are not apart of that "community", they will not do business with you.
