Went yesterday July 29, 2025 to the Post Office in Nutley NJ
2 envelopes regular mail.
Only one customer in front of me.
She was more interested in talking to her co workers about hours and time off than checking on customers.
My complain is that she charged me for an envelope that I did not buy there. She never asked me about and I thought it was insurance for one of the envelopes.
$1.69 will not kill me but please check your receipt before leaving since this office lacks everything.

I am leaving at 181 River Road and we have problems from mail delivery person, they are not properly drop mails as I received massage from post office about delivery.
So many important mails are missing from last 10 - 15 days.
So you are kindly requested to clear this matter as early as possible.

The postal service in nutley nj is by far the worst mail service other than our regular girl. So far this month I have received two late notices for bills because I have never got them in the mail. And for all of our postal patrons do you wonder what ever happened to the investigation into all the mail they found in a dumpster NOTHING. But yet they have the nerve to raise the price of postage don’t have enough full time workers so they get part timers who could care less if you get your mail or not which lately is NOT. Just horrible.

There are literally 12 people on line before me. There is one person helping customers while the guy in the back refuses to help but comes up front to grab packages.

I was sending over 20 holiday cards to 5 different countries. I wanted to get Global stamps, but they did not have them. Anyway, after going back and forth on how to make an exact match with the stamps the post office person has, we could not. It was always 10 cents more per letter. I did not want to pay extra and asked him to print a stamp for each letter. And he did. It was extra work for him, but he did it. I wasn't kicking and screaming; I asked nicely if that could be done. An older gentleman came when we were halfway and got aggravated that he had to wait maybe 10- 15 min; he yelled something and left.
I hope all my cards will make it to their destination so my friends and family know that I miss them and love them.
Our post office staff does a good job with the resources they have. I appreciate your effort.

Went to the post office today to mail a package.....had 1 letter that I tried to hand to him to mail......the clerk refused to take my letter and told me to take it to the box to mail..... unbelievable!!!!

Every time I try calling nobody answers the phones I mean I can understand there is at least one person there but still pick up the phones and say please hold this place as well as the Belleville office on Main Street are the worst
