I contacted Whitty with a transmission issue and had my car towed there for service. From the very start of my experience, through troubleshooting the issue, and communication follow up, Lisa and the Whitty team were friendly, honest and professional. My car issue was not only figured out within 24 hours, but the repair was also put into place just as quickly. Outstanding service and work! I recommend them to everyone. My 4 runner was experiencing a super aggressive first gear shift on a hill. The truck was bucking like a bull. Everywhere I looked people were recommending a full transmission rebuild or replacement costing thousands of dollars. The professionals at Whitty diagnosed my transmission unlike everyone else and did a super investigative job searching forms everywhere to help find a solution. Needless to say they reduced my $10K new transmission down to a $800 selenoid with parts and labor. I cannot thank them enough and my truck has been flawless since. Sent car there to be sold by the mechanic Mike Whitty he advised me, in writing, he could sell it easier and faster if the title were in his name I trusted him, still never sold it and uses it for his own personal needs. Never paid me a penny for it but billed me for all the work he did on it. All I asked for was fair market value yet he refuses to pay. Wants to revert vehicle back to me after it is unreliable and not running condition.Lost all trust in this businessServices: Transmission

Have used Whitty twice first time after another shop did not honor their warranty. Whitty got me sorted and Trans has been trouble free since. Second time I thought my 4wd low was not working but they showed me it was fine. Instead of charging me for a new transfer case they were honest and told me I was good to go. Two local shops, including one that I have been going to for over 20 years, suggested Whitty to us. Lisa is amazing and I am fortunate to have found them. Hopefully you will never need transmission help but if you do I hope you end up at a place like Whitty. Go there to get your transmission serviced as often as recommended so you don't end up stuck in a parking lot waiting for a tow.
