“We discovered Shrivers on a vacation to Ocean City 6 years ago. We’ve continued ordering their taffy online and shipping to Missouri, because their candy is the most exquisite treat we’ve ever had.Be prepared to lose interest in all other candy. Nothing compares once you’ve tried Shrivers. In our last order we tried the butter mints, and they are absolutely divine. Better than I could’ve imagined.”

“I never actually have been in here but one day My fiancé and I were walking by and they were blasting Too Close by Next and for being a candy factory it was maybe too sexy of a song but it makes me and my fiancé laugh to this day”

“There really is a difference and to my taste, "the fudge chicken" is the richest, creamiest, melt in your mouth fudge on the boardwalk. Maple walnut, pistachio, and vanilla cherry are my favorites, but really they are all great and it's often hard to choose! Better still are the variety of handmade candies that are such a special treat and tradition when we come to the shore each year. Service is always great and we do appreciate that they often have coupons and discounts, etc. so definitely ask! Look, it's vacation, so if you're gonna blow the diet, this is the place! Soooo worth it!”

“Best treats of the boardwalk are right here! Check out their freshly-made toasted coconut macaroons covered in chocolate. They are outstanding. And then for dessert, try their chocolate-covered pretzels. Then, for second dessert, skip that frozen custard and grab that homemade, hand-dipped ice cream!”

“Another iconic ocean city saltwater taffy place. Not as large or variety as Shrivers but they have one important distinction. They sell smaller sized pieces of taffy which are what we personally prefer. You can get regular sized as well. Due to COVID protocols, other than taffy, all other pay by weight candies were empty. The price for taffy by the pound was a little more than Shrivers, $10.99 versus $10. We bought an assortment from each place to compare later. Also Fralingers not only sells their own brand of taffy but James brand as well. The store was not as crowded and had some nostalgic candies for sale such as clove gum and candy cigarettes. Knocking one star for lack of other types of candy available but still a great experience overall.”

“Certainly, hCandy Land, with its vibrant light film on the Ocean City boardwalk, left a strong first impression on me. At first, I was overwhelmed by the vast selection, but as I explored further, I discovered not only a wide variety of choices but also high-quality confections and sweets. If you have a sweet tooth, you'll undoubtedly find yourself torn between all the tempting options, making it a delightful challenge to choose the perfect treat.”
