what a bizarre experience I had here, and I have shopped here multiple times but this last experience left me scratching my head. We tried to shop local and saw on the website that they match prices of competitors. We went in on the weekend for a washer/dryer and gave them the best buy price, we were told to come back on Wednesday when their prices would be lower and at that time they would honor the best buy price. I thought this was odd, who lets a customer walk out the door? I come back on Wednesday but let them know over the last few days Best Buy lowered their price so would they match it. I was told they could not match the price because they would be losing money. So I asked, OK what is your price then? I was willing to make the purchase if it was close as i like to shop local and I had already made 2 trips to the store. The new price wasn't even close, in fact, it was higher than my original quote by almost $200. I almost felt like they were trying not to get my business as they let me walk out the door once again without even making an effort to try and sell me something. Just a very weird vibe from the saleswoman.

This is my 4th purchase from Johnson's Appliances & Bedding, and the service from the sales and delivery staff remains exceptional from entry into the store to completion of delivery and installation. Jim Compton, the sales staff member who served me, asked pertinent and focused questions to determine my needs. He then matched a choice of products for consideration. I appreciate his efficiency and knowledge.
For all purchases, the communications concerning delivery were on time with professional and efficient installation. I know I will return for future purchases!

ZERO after purchase help. Johnson's does not have local technicians to handle problems. All problems are routed to manufacturer technicians. Way more complicated to deal with issues. Happy to buy local, but was not worth it

I’m all for buying local whenever I can because I like to support local, family owned businesses. And I expect that maybe I’ll get better customer service from a local retailer. Well, it didn’t work out that way after my wife & I bought $5k worth of appliances here this summer. Communication was poor as soon as we purchased our products. Items were ‘in stock’ until we needed them — then they were out of stock. Installation is extra cost on everything here, and despite an upfront trip to my house by the installation subcontractor, there were issues with the timing of that as well. No calls from Johnson’s to update us. If I hadn’t called them and pressed the issue, my delivery & kitchen project would have been further delayed. Next time, it’s back to Costco, Home Depot or Lowe’s.

I would highly recommend Johnson’s based on customer service alone. I didn’t purchase an appliance from Johnson’s, but Darryl Rodriguez was so kind and helpful and showed excellent follow up and customer service. I am so impressed and would be happy to shop here in the future.

I bought a washing machine over the phone — I knew the model I wanted to buy so it would take 5 mins to buy it. The salesperson John put my phone number and delivery address both completely wrong on the order form so it was a disaster getting the machine delivered. When it got here yesterday, it didn’t work! I have called and left multiple messages and the store has done nothing to replace or fix the non-working washer that they dropped off here, even though it didn’t work when they delivered it, and obviously a warranty would cover it anyway, but they literally sold a broken machine. And the store hasn’t returned any messages. I can’t believe the scam they have going here, and I paid with debit card not credit card, so I don’t know if a police report is my only recourse to deal with Johnson’s Appliance but do NOT buy from this store, whatever you do!!

We bought an $11thousand dollar refrigerator and it is still not working properly. Waiting over 2 weeks for parts.

I bought an 11k Kitchen Aid frig and it failed the second day. Broken door spring and a kick plate that did not fit. Two weeks later still waiting for parts. This is not the place to buy.

Purchase experience was great but when the washer stopped working 6 months later, found out the machine was 2-3 years old( sitting in inventory?) and the dryer was not vented out of our house appropriately. Maybe the breakdown was a blessing in disguise.
Follow up, Johnson’s offered to fix the venting, via email, but when I called they said they don’t take care of the venting to the outside. Have bought things from them for 25 years but this will be the last purchase.
