Try to buy local but this business has no customer focus. Purchased a gas grill after being told by the salesman that they put it together and connect the gas line. After calling for an installation appointment was told they do not install only deliver. Was told they don t have personnel to install. When I told them to pick it up as I was mislead, they all the sudden found someone who could install the grill. Fast forward two years later... purchased a refrigerator that did not have a functioning ice maker. When I requested service was told that I had to reach out to the manufacturer. Johnson s doesn t have a service dept. You purchase from them but after that , you re pretty much on your own. After year and a half of trying to get the ice machine working and getting the run around, I gave up. Purchased a $3,000 refrigerator from Art Handler in Pleasantville. Great customer service and follow up. Don t want to hear a response from the GM here and how he s been in the business for 30 years. Johnson should vacate their location so a reputable business can take their place.

When we built our home Johnson's made our appliance purchases smooth, even during the time when things were all sold out, and supplies were scarce. Our 1st choices were pursued, & 2nd choices at bay just in case. We got everything we wanted because of the smooth communication with everyone there, & when our wash/dryer became unavailable at the end, they came up with a solution so that we could have them when we moved in. Highly recommend over alternative because the locals know what's what, & give you best advice & service. Thank you Brett & Support Staff.

While I like the company overall and the quality of their appliances, we are very disappointed by the salesperson's behavior. He called my female relative "sweetie" several times, which is sexist and unacceptable, and when my other female relatives asked legitimate questions about the products and prices, he said, "You have too many questions and you are pushy". Therefore, despite liking the products and company overall, I may take my business elsewhere in the future.

I purchased a dishwasher, from Johnson's, because they promised installation. I made it clear I needed installation. Two weeks later they called to schedule delivery and told me I need to hire a plumber to install. Upon realizing their lie about installation I immediately canceled the order.

The only reason I purchased a dishwasher, from Johnson's, was they promised to install. So I paid them and 2 weeks later they called to schedule delivery and tell me I must hire my own plumber to install. Upon realizing they had lied to me about the installation of the dishwasher I immediately cancelled the order. I hate liars.

BUYER BEWARE! Thought we were helping local business by purchasing a new stove, even though it cost us $200 more that the big box stores. The day before the scheduled delivery and install, Johnsons called and ask if we could help the installer, install the hood since he is alone and it takes 2 people. We said we would help, even though we were charged installation fees. The stove was delivered, but the guys could not unhook the old the stove, which we paid to have removed, we needed to call the Gas company (that was o.k.), however Dan the installed stopped by to put the conversion kit on the stove and he was cursing up a storm (my guess is he saw the damaged stove and didn't want to tell us or deal with it) so we said can you also install the hood, and we will help you, like we were asked to do. He made every excuse in the book and left, without installing the hood. He did ask if he could come to the home when we weren't going to be there, which we said absolutely not????? Why do you want to be at the home when we aren't there? We called Daryl our sales person 2 days later once the gas company came and unhooked the old stove wanting Dan the installer to come back and finish the job we paid for. Daryl said he would call us back, because he needed to speak to the dispatcher. 2 hours went by and we heard nothing. We have the old stove, that we paid to have removed and the new stove and hood sitting in our Livingroom. Called Johnsons again and spoke to Gary (the manager) who was the rudest person we have ever met. We said they need to come and get this old stove out and install the new one. He said I am cancelling your order and hung up on my husband. Within 20 minutes 2 guys were back and we said are you here for the old or the new, and they said the old, so they took the old. We still had the new sitting in our Livingroom, not knowing when this will be installed so we called our handyman, who came right away, took one look inside the stove and said this is damage and rusted. By the way Dan, our handyman installed the hood and the stove ALL BY HIMSELF. He didn't need our help.....Excuses, Excuses....Excuses... In order for Dan to put the conversion kit in, he would have seen the damage but NEVER said anything to us (did a lot of cursing though). We called Gary and said this stove is damaged and he said it wasn't damaged when Dan put the conversion kit in???? So in other words, he was accusing us seniors of bending steel (see pics) and rust set in within 2 days???? He credited us $200 (not enough for the damage, this brings the price to what Home Depot was selling the stove for) and for the install charge since Dan the installer did nothing! Our good deed of trying to keep the Ma and Pa local stores in business failed since the management and installers are the worst.

Great experience! My e mail was promptly answered by Jerry, I stopped by that afternoon and my appliances were delivered a week later. In this day and age great service and in stock products are a welcome relief. It’s not supposed to be hard. Jerry’s words , not mine!

I went in the store to find out if they carried a part I needed for a 40 year old stove. I met with Jim Compton and he was very friendly and even though I was just looking for a part, which they don't carry, he treated me as I were a customer buying an appliance. He gave me a number to call to get my parts. That is great customer service. My thanks to Jim. No doubt when buying another appliance I will purchase here and more importantly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase.

We went to Johnson’s after having a bad experience with Lowes. Jerry was super helpful and the delivery was seamless. We even paid less than we originally did with Lowes. Super happy with our experience and will definitely be coming back in the future!

Excellent sales service received by Brian from the minute I walked in. Bought a washer and dishwasher without any sales pressure. Brian also very experienced and knowledgeable. Delivery and installation was very good. Although I would suggest washer delivery men wear booties… left some dirt on carpet but nothing significant (sorry, I’m fussy). DW install was excellent… again very professional! Thank you!

We recently purchased an in the wall microwave and oven combo from Johnson's to replace a failing unit. We made clear that we needed it installed and that we would have the key holder open the house for the install. This was not a problem and is the norm for the area. 4 Shore the installer came out and measured, said that they would build a base due to the smaller height, and would have it in within one to two weeks. The oven arrived, installer picked it up, called to inform us that they needed to build a base - (that was to be done prior to coming out). The office worker was rude and made it sound like it was our fault. The next appointment was cancelled after via text following the timeslot with regards giving no idea when they would back. The office worker again was rude and told us we could get another installer if we desired. The third install appointment was missed, we called and were told someone went home sick. We were told that we would have to be present for the install to happen, they were not going to have to keep coming back. All through this process Johnson's was not very helpful, did not want to help find another installer, I asked multiple times to speak to the manager and was told - "Not available - out on sick leave - nobody in charge." Asked for a return call from Johnson's - nothing but crickets. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM BOTH JOHNSON'S AND THEIR INSTALLER 4SHORE APPLIANCE
