The owner was very nice and allowed me to taste several of the cheeses. There is a very nice selection. They sell wine there in a separate room but I did not partake.

I ventured into this shop with a gift certificate and expectations that I would find nothing more than Wegmans with higher prices. What I found was a serious cheese monger who spent time and knowledge to match cheeses with my selected wine for an upcoming party. It’s the type of cheese shop you would expect to find in the city. Highly recommended.

Fabulous. Loved the help from the owner in picking out cheese to make a charcuterie board for the holidays. Everyone commented how good each cheese was.

The best cheese store on the Jersey shore or anywhere for that matter. Great selection and super competent and friendly service. A great experience all throughout. Convenient location right on Main Street in Ocean Grove.

Yes this place has an amazing selection and has been a stop for so many years for us, but is it worth dealing with the absolute rudest lady in all oh ocean grove? Definitely not. This morning we walked into the cheese shop we're rudely shooed away as she wasn't open yet, that's totally fine. We go next door to the bakery for some coffee and pastries and a nice place to sit outside. The lady behind the counter comes walking in right after us, telling the women in the bakery about the "rude, insensitive, d**** customers who tried to walk in to the store. After another slew of rude comments she then realized we were the customers in question to which she responded, "as if i care" She then sat outside of the bakery having coffee and rudely talking about our encounter loud enough for us to hear. All in all, her selection is great but please skip this stop for lack of human decency. The cheese is not worth having to deal with the woman's audacious personality.

With a great cheese selection, gift items incl gift basket arrangements. Very nice owner. Check out the recyclable, washable eco friendly dish sponge/cloth thingees...they're awesome! Support local!

Such a charming and cozy shop. Susan the owner is friendly and knowledgable about cheese selection. She has great olive oils and jams as well. This is a gem to Ocean Grove. Highly recommend.
