The rooms look nothing like the pictures. My room was really tiny and the beds were small as well. The rooms were clean. The bathroom was nice. AC worked well. The small beds were comfortable. Most of the staff were nice. The location was great. Beach and restaurants nearby in easy walking distance. I would probably not stay here again. It was a little expensive for the size of the room.

My husband and I stayed one night, after a concert at the House of Independents (a little less than a 15 min walk) and an additional night with our two kids. It was a great place to stay (clean, and super close to Main Street attractions as well as boardwalk). The staff are beyond helpful and friendly. My family would definitely stay here again!

We spent one night in this beautiful and atmospheric Victorian era wooden inn. Our room was really small, and the bed wasn't the best either, but considering the over 150-year-old house and its location a few minutes from the beach, these things didn't matter that much. The inn also has larger rooms but they were sold out. It was nice to climb up the narrow corridors and stairs to the inn's most comfortable roof top terrace, which had good views of the beach and comfortable sofas to sit on. Ocean Groove is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful small town. Remember to bring your own wine with you, because no alcoholic beverages are sold here but you can bring your own wine to the restaurant!

Nice, little cozy rooms that are only 5min from the beach are what you will find here. They offer breakfast daily that is included and the staff are extremely friendly as well. Great place to book your next vacation for very reasonable prices.

Everyone was so kind and thoughtful! They really took the time to get to know you and your preferences. An additional perk was the muffins and brownies (so delicious!)

Clean, cute, and charming. I will recommend this B&B to all my friends. It was the perfect getaway.
The friendly, hard-working inn keepers and owners made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived.
Accommodating, laid-back, peaceful vibe.
Accommodated dietary restrictions with ease, compassion and precession.
Toddler friendly / family friendly.
Great daily breakfast. The food is home-cooked and delicious.
There’s coffee, tea and water available all day and on Friday night there were fresh baked cookies out around 6pm.
Great rentals start at 9:30am after breakfast and $8 beach badges
Beautiful, clean room. Comfy bed and soft linens. Big bathroom.
Greasy AC.
I wish there were more hooks and hangers in the room. More places to air dry wet beach stuff would be really helpful.
I also wish there was a better way to lock our door from the inside. This is very specific to us but our toddler was able to easily open our room door and exit and it became his obsession … and led to several tantrums.

We had a great 2 night stay at the Shore Inn at Ocean Grove. Our third floor room was a bit tight but enough space for us with a mini fridge and large bathroom (note: AC unit in the window).
The location is just a couple blocks from the beach, which is super convenient. The shared outside spaces like the 2nd floor balcony and 4th floor deck are well maintained and pleasant to take in views.
The breakfast meals were tasty and cooked per order which was nice to not have to leave the inn for a hot breakfast. Shout-out to innkeeper Ashley for being welcoming and organized.
There is no dedicated parking for the inn, just street parking. Arriving at night helped with getting a nearby spot.

I had the most delightful stay at the Anna Ocean Grove! The last-minute decision for a virtual retreat led me to this charming Homie hotel, and it exceeded all expectations. Keith, the groundskeeper, went above and beyond with exceptional service, from accommodating an early check-in to preparing a delicious French toast breakfast for all guests. The homely atmosphere created a warm and wonderful experience, making me eagerly anticipate my return - I can only imagine the magic it holds during the summer!!

I’ve been trying to reach out for about a week now to find out about availability and group rates through different platforms and I’ve been just left on read with no responses. I can imagine the stay is terrible based on their lack of response.

We had stayed here over 10 years ago and what a difference now! Welcomed by Keith the minute we stepped in the door. Great breakfast, relaxing atmosphere and great rooftop deck to view the ocean. Clean and comfortable!!!!

Just when you think it can't get any worse:Imagine that your best friend's cancer came back in full force and advanced stage. You make a reservation at a fancy hotel to treat her to a week on the beach, which because of ongoing treatment she hasn't seen in over a year. Now, imagine that your friend was admitted to the hospital just last night - with a bowel obstruction and it is 1 day before you are set to fly out and then check-in. Imagine how hard it would be to tell her you have to cancel those plans because there is no choice. She needs to stay in the hospital. So, you call the hotel with a heavy heart and explain the situation to a person so out of touch with being human that, after you protest the only option he offers (credit) and ask if you can speak to his someone else who can help - he hangs up on you. Yes. Hangs up. Imagine, then that you call back and he tells you the owner will be calling you with a decision of 'just' taking a deposit of $500 from you - he offers no apology for hanging up and taunts you - dares you - to write a review on Yelp.Imagine you get a phonecall from the owner who, when you try to give feedback about his employee's behavior says he 'minds you questioning his choice of who to have answer the phone' at his hotel. (!) You then remind him of the right consumers have to give feedback and one would think he'd want to know to which he says nothing (and gives you no choice but to bring it to Yelp as your first review ever). You offer, pleadingly that $500 may not sound like much to him, but it is airfare across the country to your friend - a trip which will be repeated over the next... you don't know how long. You find yourself looking for mercy. Even kindness would go a long way. But, imagine that the last thing the owner says, after scolding you for cancelling the night before (!) is 'you should be more grateful' that you weren't charged the entire amount.Especially if you, or anyone you know and love has cancer and you are about to hand over money to a business at Ocean Grove, please consider this experience of the Inn at Ocean Grove. There are so many other choices (and far less expensive) where compassionate and kind people exist. It is actually a relief in a way that this happened because I wouldn't have been able to warn you. Hopefully I can pay the $500 forward, so-to-speak.As part of the cancer caregiver community, I know there are so many of us that are doing our best to be good to others. If I can somehow get my friend to the beach I promise to write a glowing review for the kind of place we all can feel better about giving our money to. The Inn at Ocean Grove has no heart and no conscience. Life is hard enough. Zero stars.

Had a fantastic weekend here! We usually stay in Asbury Park, but the prices were out of control so we started branching out and we're glad we did! Close enough to Asbury to walk, and close to the beach. Breakfast each morning was lovely, and the all-day refreshments were great! Everything was clean and lovely. The beds were very comfortable, and Kelsey and Joe were fantastic hosts. We enjoyed the quiet of Ocean Grove and will be recommending here, and returning!
