“I called this animal hospital while we were on vacation. My dog had a pointy burr stuck in his tongue. They were able to see him quickly and were very friendly. He had to have anesthesia to remove it. They kept me informed the whole time and even showed me the giant burr that was stuck in his tongue. I definitely recommend South Paw Animal Hospital. “We were almost to our summer place in Cape May Courthouse NJ when I realized that I had left our dog Penelope’s insulin at home.
We remembered that several years ago we had taken Penelope to Ocean view Veterinary Hospital for an emergency visit and had also taken one of our other fur babies Levi for an emergency visit as well.
They were wonderful then and this time as well.
They fit us right in, reached out to our vet back home and after a quick exam, had us on our way.
They were so kind, helpful and expedient I just can’t say enough good about them.

“I had a great experience with shore veterinarian years ago, which is why I chose them again for my current animals. I just recently had my two dogs in for a spay and neuter. They did wonderful with my male dog who was needless to say a little difficult. They were never rude or irritated with me. Which I appreciated so much with my situation. My female dog got spayed the very next day and they were just as wonderful. Even carried her out to the car because she did not want to walk with the cone on her head. The staff is great and welcoming. Definitely recommend them!”
