Amboy Bank at 7 Gaub Road ( Bilow Park and Shop shopping center - off Route 516 ), Old Bridge, NJ 08857? 2022 July 28 - Rating upgraded to 5 stars ? ?? ? ?. Was in the lobby counting cash withdrawal from the ?. No problems today. ?? 2022 May 20 - Rating downgraded to 4 stars. Vaguely odd behaviour exhibited by certain employees. Uncomfortable . ?? 2022 Feb.23 - The printed copies of bank statements that I requested were ready when I arrived, prepared by dependable Amboy representative Colleen. Didn't have to wait. Nice and decent onsite visit today. Rating remains at 5 stars ?.? 2022 Feb.22 - Just spoke to a nice lady named Colleen, a dependable Amboy representative. I asked her to prepare a printed statement of my accounts and she was very nice, pleasant, helpful, friendly, and respectful. Nice and pleasant banking service by phone today. The rating remains at 5 stars.? 2022 Feb.16 - Nice and decent onsite banking today. I told the nice lone bank teller that when it comes to counting and recounting a cash withdrawal I trust her more than me and I meant that seriously. I only did a recount of my $700 cash withdrawal for the video-surveillance inside the bank. But honestly I want to reassure the bank teller ( Sorry I didn't get her name ) that I trust her and any other bank teller more than myself because money-counting is something that bank-tellers do regularly at their job. The rating remains at 5 stars??2021 Dec.07 - ? ? ? ? ? - Just used the on-site ATM. Happy to see they NO longer require Covid face mask for their customers.? 2021 July 27 - ? ? ? ? ?. Onsite in-person visit. 2 nice employees acknowledged me during today's on-site in-person visit. Nice today.? 2021 June 28 - Rating upgraded to 5-stars ? ? ? ? ?. Today, my mother and I had a nice banking interaction with Miss Colleen O. Havecker - an assistant branch manager who did an AWESOME job assisting us in notarizing our Surrogate Court papers and opening a checking account on my behalf. She was likeable, pleasant, easy to talk to, ably assisted us with our requests, we felt comfortable interacting with her, and she demonstrated Professional Readiness. Great Bank. The tellers are all very nice. I don't see much of a wait in the Drive-Thru. If any. You do have to make an appointment I think to go inside well I'm pretty sure. But it's also November of 2021. So maybe you will be reading this in a year from now. And you won't need to make an appointment. But when you go inside they are good. I have made an appointment and they have helped me. You get zero interest. That is the only downside which is pretty big I guess is the place will give you something that may be better depending on how much money you have.

Amboy Bank at 7 Gaub Road ( Bilow Park and Shop shopping center - off Route 516 ), Old Bridge, NJ 08857. I've been a loyal customer to this branch since 2006 but I have been at certain times subject to hostile treatment and disrespect by certain moronic irrational employees who created a hostile environment and made it uncomfortable for me to do any onsite in-person banking at this branch. I never complained to the branch management or reported the employees to the corporate management or their human resources department for fear of retaliation which is something I repeatedly experienced in the past with other businesses whenever I reported an employee for a bad interaction. Disgruntled employees and their co-workers, plus friends and families outside of the business will always find ways to retaliate in such a way that it makes it hard for the complaining party to counter-retaliate because the person who complained is outnumbered, so rating and reviewing a business this way is the best revenge since I am Not naming specific people. Fortunately for me, due to the mandated pandemic lockdown, I can avoid doing any onsite in-person banking at this branch. For this reason, I feel obliged to give this branch a low rating. Simply aweful. The brand manager Sue is extremely rude. You can tell she hates her job. Not helpful, refuses to explain anything. Just the worst experience I've ever had.

Never ever again. There has be something better out there. For a small bank, I would expect them to be more attentive and respectful to their customers. Not the case.

Easy to put money into your account but frustratingly difficult to move money out. They only allow one linked bank so if you want to move to a different bank you will need letters, yes more than one.. They will not verify online. Seems like a way to delay transfer. There are much better online banks, stay away!

Just want to share great pleasure I had speaking with Angie Petrella (and her boss as well, she approved it) -who went an extra-mile to find out more for me; she could have dropped the ball easily that day (WT on SAT) but she choose not to. A true example of an amazingly awesome employee and human being.

I will never do business with this bank ever again. The lady that called me about my account this morning, was rude and very unprofessional. She demanded me to tell her a day that I would be able to come in to fix the issue on my account and then when I told her a day that was good for me she said that I can't come on that day and she's closing my account and then hung up on me. She didn't even let me speak or hear what I had to say. She was yelling at me like if I was her child. I have never ever been treated like this from any company. You don't do that to your customers and you should be ashamed of yourself whoever you are. You need to go and take a refresher class on PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. No I don't wish or hope that you lose your job, on the contrary. I hope you keep your job and you don't ever make anyone feel the way you made me feel today.
