I got a gel pedicure today and while the service was nice and the nails look great, the technician failed to follow my instructions. I told her very clearly to cut my nails straight across and not rounded because when they clip the corners, I get ingrown toenails.
But halfway through the service I noticed she was clipping into the corners with the cuticle cutter. Sigh. This previously has led to me getting such bad ingrown toenails I had to get surgery.
They're not supposed to cut into the corners with cuticle clippers. They shouldn't be pulling a strip of cut nail out from the side of your nail bed. I always tell all my nail technicians to just cut straight across and here, they failed to listen so now I have to anxiously wait to see if my toenails will grow back ok.

Fancy nails is by far the best place i have ever got my nails and feet done. They are like family, they treat you like a star. Very clean and using clean equipment. I would recommend everyone to go to fancy nails in Old bridge.

I have been a client of Fancy Nails for 19 years ever since I moved to NJ.Over the years I have had only exceptional work done by Lisa for my gel manicures and pedicure. Over the past year since Lisa has become owner she has worked so diligent and compassionate to the salon to make customers feel and look like a prestigious spa.There have been all new renovations to the inside of the salon to make clients more comfortable with new nail desks, chairs and equipment to keep up to date with all needs of clients. All technicians there are so skilled and experienced in all services offered as well as sterilization and cleanliness is top priority.I work as a Dental Hygienist, to me my hands are my most important asset to my patients so I feel the importance of always having them well manicured and I trust Fancy Nail to accomplish the task!!!! This was a terrible experience and it was with the owner. She charged me for a gel manicure but I did not receive a gel manicure. My nail is chipped less than 24 hours after it was done. My nail on my pinky looks lighter than the rest of the nails and my cuticles were not trimmed properly. They were never soaked in water, prior to being trimmed. Also the nailpolish looks bumpy. I would NEVER go back there again. I would give it 0 stars but unfortunately that was not an option.

Very nice staff, the owner Lisa is super nice and welcoming and keeps the place very nice and clean. I love coming here for my mani pedis 🩷

I really didn't care for the service . The women were very nice but I don't feel they did a good job on my pedicure. 1 1/2 weeks later I was taking off the polish and noticed both my large toenails were turning black . I got a toe nail fungus . Ugh ... never had one before so I looked it up . Now it says it can take weeks to clear up , have lost most of my big toenails on my 2 feet . No sandals for me this summer .
