I’ve been coming to this Marshalls for YEARS! Never have I ever been denied a return at any store. I had bought a pair of Steve Madden sandals that I had for 3 DAYS ! I decided to wear them and I noticed when I walked outside to my CAR, they were too big on me so I go back inside and CHANGE. I went to go return them along with another pair of sandals I bought the same day as these. The manager accepts the other pair but didn’t like that the bottoms of the Steve Maddens weren’t in perfect condition after I walked in them like 20 steps. I thought it was disgusting of her denying a return, I had the receipt and tag, what more do you want ? Let me have my $30 back ! Unbelievable. To be honest, not even sure how the bottoms looked like when I got them. Really disappointed. Clearly doesn’t know how to to be a manager, they need a new one desperately, not sure if her name was Nutan. Whenever I shop at Marshall’s I do notice some imperfections in some of the clothing/shoes, so this was beyond ridiculous. And guess what ? I went to another Marshalls and they accepted it :) I’ll take my business elsewhere thank you. Please get yourself a better manager ! :)

Very slow checkout process, every visit, irrespective of day and time. They always seem to either have an issue or take their sweet time, causing unnecessary long check out line.

March 25, 2023 At 9:11pm I was at register 4 and I purchased 2 pan which cost $47. 96 printer was not working so receipt didn’t print so i asked for reprint of receipt and he tried but he wasn’t sure how to do then NIGHT MANAGER NUTAN came try to print but she didn’t know her job how to reprint the recipt and accept for finding solution how to reprint she asked me to do another transaction. I payed from apple pay so i was seeing in my apple pay that transaction already done money deduced from apple pay then she asked me to repurchase the item and said come back tomorrow if u dont get refunded. So i asked something for proof that this scenario happened Nutan was so rude and walked away without any further information given. Finally another coordinator came and help me with receipt so how come she knows how to reprint and this night manager doesn’t know. Basically NUTAN wanted twice money. Lady if you dont know how to handle customer do find another job customer service is not you cup of tea.

This was my 2nd time going to this Marshall's and my absolute last. I went to pick up somethings to gift my coworker. The line wasn't bad but how I was treated at checkout was disturbing especially in the climate we live in now. I was waiting in line and I heard the bell ring for register 1 I figured I would be next as I looked up the young lady at register 2 looked at me with an annoyed look. (Didn't think anything of it at first) until her customer left her register rang as I walked up she switched the light for her register off and told me "she'll take you" speaking of the girl at register 1 who was already with the customer before me. The female working register 1 looked at her confused and "asked are you ok?" Her customer then went to register 2 ( which I was next on) which made no sense. I made my purchase said thank, received no "you're welcome" or "have a nice day" as I heard them say to other customers. As someone of color a good day is when you don't have to walk in a store spend your hard earned money and feel discriminated against, but when it's done by another person of color it leaves a bad taste in your mouth because you're only teaching others that behavior is ok. Disgusted!!!!
