“I like this store, always shop there. they have different brands for the same items that you can buy in the supermarket, but it does not reduce the quality, however, it it's cheaper for some items. I removed one star for the fact that at least in my area the store restock become force and less quantity become a available, not sure why is that happening, perhaps it may depend of the day of the week, bit it is noricible from the time when those stores just appeared in the neighborhood.Still my favored place to shop.”

“I seen this grocery store and had to stop ti get fresh Papaya .There are not many grocery stores that have fresh papayas so I came here strictly for this fruit I ended up getting the coconut drinks that areso creamy and delicious also coconut candies made with fresh coconut flakes . I bought a mango and the fruit was si fresh and delicious! I will come back here when I come to Perth Amboy . The young Dominican girl at the register helped me pick out a better ripen papaya fruit . It was so delicious.This store is areal hispanic store with great customer service .Love the fact that the cashier was so helpful .She even suggested a Great Domincan restaurant down the street which was very good. Muchas Gracias !”

“Nice selection of imported Italian goods, way more than I was expecting and not too overpriced. Tons of pasta, olive oil, a nice selection of Italian grocery staples, canned goods and candies. They also have imported cleaning items, that was a surprise!”
“Aldi is a great specialty grocery store with interesting options and very good prices.
The ONLY reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that a lot of their packaged food has BIOENGINEERED ingredients.
Something to keep in mind if you care about that sort of thing.”
“This isn't my usual Aldi but it's super close to my job and I have to say the staff here is so friendly and helpful, every time I'm here. There was a guy with glasses that was just so nice and he spotted something that helped me save a dollar on what I was considering a "splurge" today. It really made my day how he really just went out of his way to be kind. And everyone's always "bye! Have a nice day!" And welcoming and awesome. ❤️”

“In the sleepy little town of South River, who knew that you could find a treasure trove of authentic Portuguese restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. Cavaco Supermarket is known in town as the go-to Portuguese deli, grocery, and bakery. The shelves are even stocked with products imported from Portugal. On the front counter, you'll find a variety of fresh baked breads, codfish fritters and turnovers, pastries, as well as of course espresso. In addition, they are a churrasqueria and offer delicious BBQ chicken, served in a giant tray over rice and fries. Their pastries, such as their bola de berlim and pastel de nata I'm not too much of a fan of compared to other spots in town, but their chicken and codfish fritter was delicious and their fries are even fresh cut. Take a look at their various imported goods and merchandise and you'll certainly be surprised!”
“A good supermarket that has a little bit of everything. Always come here for the fresh bread/rolls and all my Spanish ingredients and food. Shelves are always stocked and place is very clean. Employees are very helpful and kind.”
“I really had a spectacular time that day at this lake, which I visited for the first time with my daughter and family. It was a very hot day that asked you to be in a place like this. “It's a great little store that offers a lot. Every time I'm in the area, I go inside and IF I find a parking spot. That's the only reason I gave one star less. Sometimes, it's so hard to find a parking spot. You nearly have to literally park a block away. Other than that, it's one of the best stores in town.”
“Great clean pleasant nice parking area in the side and back automatic doors to make it easier to get in well regulated store temperature beautiful yummy mostly fleshing takeout open when the store does, Delicious looking tuna wraps and egg salad wraps packaged very appealing with a yummy cucumber etc, keep it up a fan from Lakewood! To sum it up it’s just as well stocked as a grocery in any major Jewish area in tri state all your favorites!!”

“I needed buns for my hotdogs, and I was having trouble finding them. The most wonderful employee, Deeana, came along and helped me find them! She actually convinced me to buy a couple other things. She was a wonderful young woman who is very polite and helpful. This location is very clean and tidy. Five stars!!!”

“I love going to this store, it is new has great coffee and food options. The salad bar is always fresh and I’ve had some great salads I hadn’t had anywhere else before. Pricing is on the expensive side but is definitely worth it.”
