Zero stars. HORRIBLE customer service. Placed a large online order for curbside pick up. I'm a woman and these were heavy items so I wanted curbside delivery. Text tells me my order is ready. I go there. I go in the designated numbered parking spaces for curbside, go to my app and let them know I'm here. 20 MIN. GOES BY AND NO ONE COMES OUT. I tried calling customer svc. 3 times and NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. WTH! So I go in and at the CS area there's 7 employees doing absolutely NOTHING. Store wasn't busy at all. They don't even have my order ready anywhere in the CS area. I was so mad. They said they never got the alert in their handheld device that I was here. What crap. I cancelled the whole order and they didn't care. Never even called a manager over. Unacceptable. This my first curbside order at HD, and will be my last. Never again. Going to Lowe's instead.

I recently visited this location looking for a specific item. I attempted to find it myself and failed. I asked 4 different store representatives where I can find this item, I received 4 different aisle suggestions to check. I walked back and forth twice, got disgusted and walked out.

RACIST STAFF! One of their self checkout associates took the scanner gun from my hand and was scanning my stuff and asking if I was making sure I got everything. Made me feel UNCOMFORTABLE, and made me feel like I was STEALING. I will NEVER SHOP AGAIN AT THIS HOME DEPOT EVER AGAIN!!!

I went to home depot to get a simple house key made. Standing by key making for 10 minutes while several employees are chatting with each other. I asked for help and was told that someone would be there. I went to service desk and they paged. Key made, went home, DOESN'T FIT .drive back, service desk asked for manager. I was annoyed and was told I shouldn't have an attitude. REALLY BECAUSE I SHOULD EXPECT THIS LEVEL OF LAZY INCOMPETENCE?

In Continuance of my review with the south Plainfield store, the manager there called the Edison store to see if they had the specific door I was looking for . The employee looking, I'm not sure if they even looked but kept us on hold for 20 plus minutes. At that point I already drove to Edison HD. Employee got back on the phone finally to say there were none in stock.. so I went inside to see if there was maybe another door I'd like and to my surprise they had 3 of the doors I was looking for right where they were suppose to be so the guy didn't even look!! I had a nice employee help me get the door and bring to the register. I then needed help getting it in my car and they sent the tiniest man to help.... I had to laugh and ask for someone else because he just could not do the job.

Conveniently located . Just like any other Home Depot - has all good stuff . Nice service ... rental service wasn't that good though . Parking is ok . Overall a good experience..

What a joke. We bought a new fridge and it was scheduled to be delivered a week later. The delivery men refused to take away the old fridge (which we paid for) and install the new fridge for a b******* reason and abruptly left without explanation or recourse. Customer service at store was absolutely no help. I will never ever shop at any Home Depot again this experience has been a nightmare.

To be honest, I'm being generous on giving this Home Depot 1 âï¸! If you call in the morning and tell them to hold a van for you and you will be there at about 1pm, wouldn't you expect to be able to rent that van?!! Well not at this one! I was at the counter waiting to get the ONLY van they had that I already reserved and I over heard this couple say “ok, I guess we'll take the van since you don't have a truckâ€. I flipped out n said that it was mine because I called n reserved it! The manager tells me that there's only a 2hr hold (which I was never told) and then he tells me it's 1st come 1st serve!! Why the hell did I reserve it for!! That is very poor customer service. So I went to the place who respects you and takes care of you. I went to Lowe's in Marlboro and was very happy and satisfied with their customer service. I am making a phone call to Lowe's and telling them that I was very happy with the way Ryan took care of me. I am also making a phone call to the Home Depot corporate office and tell them how happy I was with their manager SAM!!

My wife and I just had a wonderful experience shopping for carpet at Home Depot on Rt 1 in Edison, NJ. We had a number of questions for Christine, in the carpet department, and she demonstrated a complete knowledge of all the carpet offerings. She was very polite and helpful to us and everyone else in her department. Thank you Christine. Keep up the good work.

Pros: ample parking lot located centrally on route 9. Well stocked. Efficient layout. Clean. Friendly staff that are generally easy to find. Ample displays of products like ceiling fans, chandeliers, and decorative knobs. Custom drapes department is wonderful - wait for a sale. Financing available with credit card depending on amount of purchase. Cons: I've had issues with delivery in the past. Dates are usually inaccurate and staff lack knowledge of delivery options (ie you can pay extra to have something delivered within a specific time slot - not all staff know). It seems to be a combination of poor staff training and Home Depot delivery policy in general. Will absolutely continue to shop there, but will place orders with caution.

Was able to find everything we needed over the course of several trips, which is needed with a fixer upper home that requires a lot of maintenance and TLC. Will be coming back. My husband loves to do a search online to see if things are in stock and what Bay they're located in, so we can shop faster. So far, his methods have worked -- he has always gotten everything off his list (light bulbs, plumbing supplies, protective and cleaning gear/supplies, toilets, etc), and he can move around quickly. For the most part, things are properly located and their online information accurate. Sometimes they aren't updated or the stocking is a little messy. When we recently got a couple new toilets, there weren't as many in stock as was listed online, and they were not listed under the proper price tag. Minor stuff, but I think this can be pretty common as no store is perfect. If you need anything, you can always just ask. Workers ask if you need help, cashiers are friendly and quick. Occasionally, I've gotten a less friendly cashier, but not mean or outright rude.
