Warning to all renters read the agreement carefully there is a lot of hidden cost even though they charging you $.99 per mile and by the hour you still have to pay for gas, and a cleaning fee for a truck wash…… even if you only rented the truck for two hours still chargedAnd if you do it online rental it better off doing less hours than anticipated because they still charge you the full amount. For example I rented the truck for three hours but bought it back in two I was still charged the full amount and $26 for a truck wash…..rip off next time Home Depot truck rental by the hour better pricing with no hidden fees

The truck ran really loud and rough. It sounded like the engine was going to fall out every time we got going and hit the gas.Otherwise the experience was excellent!

I was supposed to get a truck in south amboy location. In the morning I was texted with a reminder for pick up with a link. When I notice I am actually headed to the Old Bridge location I call the South Amboy location and they told me to go back to South Amboy for the truck pick up. After turning around and almost reaching the south amboy location, I receive yet another call to go back to Old Bridge for the pick up. So I click on the link and turn around. When I get to the address the link sends me to, I realize they sent me a bad link and I was actually 20 minutes away from the actual pick up location. When I finally get to Old Bridge site, I express my frustration to the woman working there and she blames me for trusting the link they sent me. The truck its self was a piece of junk. The transmission kept skipping and the back gate had gotten stuck. Between the terrible and rude customer service and faulty equipment, I give it an F for a grade, because there isn't a lower grade I can think of. Extremely disappointed

I rented a 15ft box truck from this location. When my fiancé and her mother went and got in the truck my fiancé forgot to take a picture of the odometer (Which on our part is wrong). We used the truck to transport work equipment from Sayreville to Edison. We put all of 14 miles on the truck. When I returned the truck the next day, they told me that I put 124 miles on the truck. My jaw hit the floor. So it turns out that the person who logs all the miles messed up on his end because there no physically possible way I put 124 miles on the truck. They also could have used the truck on there own and never recorded the mileage. We tried to explain it to the person working behind the counter and he did everything he could to try and help but to no avail. Then the manager came over and she was EXTREMLY rude and did not even want to hear about it at all. She would not even hear us out or listen to the situation. You would think the MANAGER would get the person who did the vehicle check and confront them about it but nope... TERRIBLE customer service. Will never go back, try and use another UHAUL dealer instead of this one...

If I could give 0 stars I would . This is the worst u haul location I have ever been to . The staff is rude and doesn’t help us when we need to they do their own thing n help when they want I waited inside for a half hour before someone checked in my car . They insisted I just drop the car off and send me a receipt but why would I let them charge my card whatever they wanted . Simply the worst I recommend going anywhere else . I will never get a U-Haul from here ever again . I am so dissatisfied

Great staff and great customer service. Store is big, clean and organized. They seem to offer a much wider variety of equipments and supplies than other uhaul locations.

I booked a van online and I’m pretty sure I clicked on a dealer site. I get to the dealer and there was no reservation. The lady said maybe you book the U-Haul down the road. I called customer service and they said that indeed is what happened. They gave me the address and I put it in my gps. I arrived at my destination except I wasn’t at my destination. I did this again and again and again. Over an hour went by. I decide to navigate from a map instead of gps and I get there. I get to the location and the guys there say that happens all the time. Really??? They tell me google and Waze both have that address being somewhere else. That’s my first life experience in something like this. Then a dinosaur is asking for the same info I put in the reservation. Why did I make a reservation in the first place. I even had to give him my debit card when my girlfriend already put her information in the reservation. At this point I’m mind blown. Then they ask me for my phone number which was already provided but I gave it anyway. The gentleman says I used that number so I have to give another. It’s my only number. Now he says give me any number. What? Okay whatever. He tells me since I am returning it same day I have to download the app because nobody will be there when I bring it back. Ok fine. When it comes time to return it I download the app. I push every possible option and there is not one thing to return it. I call customer service while I’m in their parking lot. Customer service has what should be a great convenience. They will call me back so I don’t have to stay on hold. Ten minutes later I get a call back and I’m on. Old for over ten minutes before I hang up. I had things to do so I left the keys and invoice in the drop box they was it use to be before these major inconveniences that make things harder. I call the store the next morning and they must be sooo busy I get connected to a call center. The call center is for sales so they transfer me to customer service. Over an hour on hold a hung up. I don’t know what I’ve been charged or anything. I’m convinced I could have kept the van and nobody would ever know. This is going on google as well. U-Haul should be bankrupt!!!

Very bad place. Lin was there. She talked really fast and had so much attitude to us. She drove to truck to us so fast and yelled at us to get on the sidewalk. Very bad, would not recommend.

Excellent team working together when I called and when I arrived for my appointment. They made it clear my time was valued. Speaking of which the value for the service rendered is beaten by none I know of. They installed a tow hitch direct to Subaru frame, which requires some boring of the holes (in all types for the Crosstrek), made me feel comfortable about the level of confidence they had in this, and DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Behind the counter and under the lift the workers (names I'll add later), have given me.wvery reason to recommend them for services you expect or just now learned that they perform. **They even disposed of the box and trash from the packing that the hitchnwas delivered in. Stellar employees! Thank you for the fantastic experience!!!
