I am very happy with the Products and the service and everything else about CVS in Old Tappan New Jersey. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and everyone is so nice. I am particularly happy that Michelle the manager is still there for so long because she helps me a lot find things and retrieve my discounts. I also want to compliment the other employees of the store including the pharmacy Who work very hard under very challenging conditions. They all go out of their way to really help you get what you want with a great deal of caring. I do not understand some of these negative reviews, some of which to me seem totally Unfounded and not real based on any experiences I’ve ever had In the store. Employees are very respectful And I have never nor has anyone I’ve ever known ever had anyone approach us about our bags and if They did I imagine it would be completely Justifiable. A lot of thought and caring goes into everything That I’ve seen done in the store. Perhaps people should changed Places with people who work in these stores even for just a day so they can experience empathy and appreciation for what they do on a daily basis. They would have an enlightened opinion. For one I’m grateful for my experiences And wish more people would be helpful, grateful and a Lot less critical. These people need and deserve recognition as hard-working People.

About a week ago, I scheduled a COVID vaccine for today at the CVS in Old Tappan and received a text check-in message before the appointment. When I arrived at the counter, the pharmacist informed me that a phone message was left for me saying that they had run out of it. The phone number they used was an old number and was not the phone number I used to book the appointment (which is how the system was able to text me). She "explained" that the pharmacy and the COVID scheduling program use different systems and that I should have given them an update phone number. But there is of course no way of knowing they use two systems for keeping track of phone numbers and as I noted I received the check-in message from CVS an hour before the appointment. It also is not logical that this system would give the pharmacy my name, time of the appointment, and the type of vaccine I scheduled but not my phone number. I strongly recommend that you not use this pharmacy to get your COVID vaccine. I just scheduled a COVID vaccine appointment with Walgreens and it notes when you schedule it that they will call the phone number I put in their system if there are any communications from them about the vaccine.

This CVS is so unprofessional and rude. The second we stepped in we were asked to drop our bags with no reason given, while other people were coming in with their bags on. As we we’re peacefully shopping the loudspeaker went off for our isle and we got asked to leave for “disrespecting the store”. All we did was laugh. They came up to us twice and asked us to leave. Very rude customer service and unfair treatment.

The pharmacy has gone downhill since Helen left. The service at the cashiers is non existent. I will either try a different CVS or give Walgreens a try. It's a shame because when Helen was here it was great.

They seem to forget what time they’re suppose to open up their store. Hours on the website say 8am but they’re not open. They’ll most likely blame it on “short staffing”. Chances are— they won’t last too long at this location with the way they’re doing business.

Seriously the hours are the worst, really, 11:00 AM on Sunday. I have been yelled out by the pharmacist, the clerk actually left me at the counter and went to lunch but didn't tell me. If my insurance didn't force me to go to CVS I would never go there.

After lunch, I dropped off 2 prescriptions and they said to come back at 5. When I came to the pharmacy, an older lady with long blonde hair said I wasn't here. She told me I was loosing my mind, which shocked me. So, I asked her to check the cameras, but she instantly said no, she isn't going to check the cameras. After 40 MINUTES of looking for my prescriptions and after a few times of checking the same papers again and again finally, she found my prescriptions. To summarize it, she was rude, had a bad attitude, and horrible customer service. PLEASE, I beg, RETIRE! Even better, fire her.BIG thank you to the young Indian girl, super professional, and nice.

We didn't find any good items to buy in the store during our visit. The clearance here especially needs to be rethought either by this store or their headquarters. Imagine a month after Halloween and they've only now gone to 75% off.The first thing we saw when we entered was leaves all over the floor at the entrance. They were so bad I thought we were still outside!I still don't understand the ridiculousness of the yellow tags on nearly 80% of the product shelving. It just makes it confusing and annoying! Also how many hours a week or spent just putting those yellow tags on everything?

The pharmacist is an entire situation. Helen. Honey. If. You. Hate. Your. Job. It’s. Time. To. Go. Your attitude is nooooo way to treat people who haven’t opened their mouths. You don’t greet people, you don’t say hi, you don’t even let people know you’re addressing them. Instead of being miserable, fix yourself and your nasty attitude and go do whatever you need to do for happiness.

Just called the pharmacy 3X to check on my child's prescription. I can't believe this but I was put on their elevator music and then someone hung up on me. I'm calling within their advertised business hr. Wow never have I ever experienced this from a pharmacy before. If i can, I would give this place 0 star. whoever is working this shift 6pm on wed should be let go.
