Ever since Steve retired the Oxford post office is the absolute WORST! The delivery woman on Axford Avenue will absolutely not leave packages on the porch, “for her safety” according to the postmaster, who thinks that is just fine. She told me “it’s rural delivery and they don’t generally leave their truck”. There are three steps up to my porch; on rainy days I leave the door open so she doesn’t have to go up the steps but rather just slide it on the porch.Instead of the government pouring more money into the USPS it should be disbanded.Don’t you love the new tv ads showing packages being delivered by friendly mail carriers, getting out of their truck to deliver packages to the front door to hand it to the customer? ?These were due by 2:00 pm today, waited until 3:00, left message on door to leave on porch. This is how this worthless carrier left them, in the rain no less! Don’t bother calling the post master either as she is just as worthless!

This is a tiny and wonderful post office. The staff are very friendly and helpful!

Sent a package from the Oxford post office, the girl behind the counter didn’t pay attention and made out the label out in my own name. Needless to say three days later the package I just sent out to go to Portland Maine came back to me in Mt. Lake. They wouldn’t make good on the issue and I had to pay again to send the package to Maine.

Awful. Lived here since 2002 and we are continuosly missing mail or getting someone else's, it's been on the ground wet in front of the box which I had to replace with the biggest one possible from her jamming boxes in it. It fell off. Yeah Amazon, I get it. It's not fair to the postal workers who schlep their pkgs, some of which are big and require more than 1 trip with the mailtruck and on Sundays to boot. Ive seen her stop at my box and leave registered mail with a notice I wasn't available. She didn't even come to the door. Mail and pkgs left near my house in the weather.. the list goes on. Today was the icing on a cake when she left my box of commercial paper towels in the leaves and mulch. I've combined several times but it falls on deaf ears.

I ordered a carpet cleaning machine, over two hundred dollars. It was unfortunately delivered on a Sunday. The mail carrier threw it on the ground on the side of the road by the mailbox. They have been instructed not to deliver packages that don’t fit in my mailbox if they can’t bring them to the house, as I am handicapped and can’t get to the mailbox. My husband or kids can pick up from post office during the week.

They won’t come to the door for certified mail meanwhile two cars in the driveway. Lazy.

I too have had the experience of not having something delivered that had to be signed for when I was home. What irks me the most is my mailbox is dangling as she is too lazy to drive up my driveway and drop off boxes. She prefers to cram and jam it into my mailbox to the point the box is literally falling off the post.

People in the post office are very rude! There is one lady there that lied straight through her teeth to me. I went in asking about a package that was supposed to be delivered to me on 12/21/17. On 12/23 when I asked if they could help me figure out when I will be getting my order this lady told me that the wrong address was put on it and there was nothing they could do about it. I asked if I could see the paper she was reading my tracking info from , as I also had it on my phone. She said absolutely not and that I won't be getting my package. On 12/26 I called usps customer service and they told me they will do an investigation to find the package and also told me the address on the package was the CORRECT address.they still don't know why I haven't received my package. This post office always loses mail when mailed from there. Never fails, it has went down hill since the guy retired.

I cannot stand this post office. The lady who delivers my mail is too lazy to get out of her truck, come to to my door and make me sign for my packages. Instead she will say no one was home when someone was. At the actual post office they are slow. There's always one person on with a line. When I request my mail to be held, they either can't find it or the sent it out. When I want to file an OFFICIAL complaint, they try to convince me other wise. I definitely will be filing a official complaint after today!
