Absolutely amazing and fresh food. Great service, the owner and employees are so friendly. They make you feel as if you are eating in their house. Being a vegetarian I loved the sides they start you off. I also ordered jap Chae- very good. And their tofu gop dol with homemade red pepper sauce. If you like spicy, ask for their VERY spicy hot sauce. Will definitely be going back here!

I finally got the chance to dine in and I think I have found my new go-to Korean spot in the area. The takeout was already good, but eating it fresh was (obviously) even better. To start, they bring you banchan. The banchan was slightly different that what they gave us for takeout. It was even better. They gave us these plates of tofu and it might be the best tofu I have ever eaten in my life. It was silky smooth, but doesn't easily break apart when you try to pick it up, and is topped with some gochujang and green onions. We ordered 3 lunch specials and a japchae. The lunch specials are a great deal because you can get a combo of a main and tofu soup, appetizer, or seolleongtang. We had tofu soup + seafood pancake, tofu soup + galbi, spicy pork + seollongtang. My favorites were the galbi and the japchae. The galbi isn't your traditional galbi but is stir-fried in sauce. It's not a bad thing, but just not what we were expecting. Between the four of us, we had a good amount of leftovers to take home. Can't wait to come back!

Ordered takeout for a Friendsgiving. We had all the classics - seafood pancake, galbi, spicy pork, regular pork, japchae, and bibimbap. My favorite was the japchae and the galbi. They also gave us two containers each of banchan - kimchi, radish, and white kimchi. I've never had white kimchi before and I really liked it. I actually can't think of another Korean spot that serves it.Next time, I'll have to dine in and have everything fresh.

I usually like gamjatang, so I visited once, but after taking one bite, it was so fishy and tasteless that I left more than half of it. I need to improve.

I wasn't wow'd by my Dolsot Bibimbap and I suspect might have ordered the wrong entree at Tang Maru. Soups appeared to be the common theme at most tables but then again my dining partner who ordered the Ox Tendon Soup said it was nothing special. The Seafood Pancake was very sizable with a decent amount of squid tentacles and nothing else I could decern. The service was good and the atmosphere was typical dark wooden tables and chairs and frigid temps, seemingly a norm in Korean eating establishments. For a Saturday afternoon, it was kind of empty. Tried it. Not for me. Moving on.

Service was great and food was ok. Meat portions were ok. Fried fish was delicious. Soup based food was ok, need a lot of salt which then made us thirsty after the meal. Galbi was a little too sweet.

I barely leave review on Yelp. But I need to do this for Tang Maru. Because it is my go-to Korean restaurant in the past 10 years! Tang Maru's menu has a wide range of choices. You can get almost everything you want about Korean food. And every one of them is well made and tastes great! Environment is very nice with parking spots. Every time when I went out with friends, I took them to Tang Maru. Everyone can find a dish him or her like and leave the restaurant with satisfaction. Service here is great. Make me feel like going back home every time when I visit.

I love this place and the soup and banchan is super flavorful... My only issue is that I was charged with another table's bill (+$70) last year. Still meaning to get this resolved but the owner was not here last time I tried...

Parking was relatively easy to find. Foods are OK, not too salty. Lack of serving staff.Parking: Enough space next to the restaurant. And side way too.
