I would like to share what happened today at this store followed by an unacceptable behavior with a woman called store manager with a hat and headphones on!
Me and my two kids (4year old & 7 year old) walked in the store around 4.30 pm Saturday February 15, 2025. I was checking garments on the left side of the store at the entrance and my 4 year old kid was hanging around me. In a minute at the same spot , on my right side , I saw that one of the tall hanging trees that holds many long dresses started to turn upside down on my kid and I immediately run and stretched to that side to catch it. I did catch but it was way too heavy to hold and make it right back; I was stuck and shaking, so nervous that my kid would get hurt and also was looking around and hoping someone at store discover us come over to help. After I waited couple seconds with shock I then speak loudly and said ‘Can someone come and help please! ‘
I saw the woman with a hat and headphones on approaching slowly with zero eye contact and I couldn’t even be sure whether she is going to help or not until she gets by my side. She grabbed the thing to put back in standing position but we had to do it together just because it was overloaded and intensely heavy! She then started to put the dresses back with my help also and not even said a word. With a panic I was frozen a minute and then I recovered and realized she was weirdly ignoring our situation and feelings . I said I expected an attention and hear a sorry word or at least checking my kid or me if we are OK. But instead she said nothing even ignored my words that I said it was overloaded thats why it overturned!!
She kept zero eye contact attitude without even a single word. In just 2 minutes I realized she was simply pretending nothing happened in the store that she works for and made me feel like we did something wrong and we should feel guilty about it. I was so disappointed and I couldn’t stop to complain about her attitude and ignorance. I asked who the manager is and she said I am the manager. I said I am surprised because you are responsible of your customers’ safety and you just even cant say sorry ? She was still ignoring and not even turning her head towards me. Finally she said I already did what I supposed to do and helped you.
Well , I think helping like that is just a silent violence, doing something with an ignorance doesn’t count for goodness. After I said you cant treat people especially your customers like that she said Ok mam have a nice day. She was allegedly chasing me to go away.. I left but to be honest I couldn’t get over the situation so I went back to store to ask her name for complaint message I was thinking to send company’s customer service. She refused to tell her name; I asked again and again; she said no you cant have my name and she hided her badge. I asked people working in the same store and they were acting like a teenagers and was trying not to laugh to my reactions and one of them finally said with eye rolling and a cynical smile on her face “Umm yes she is manager but why you are asking..”
They were literally like a team that making me feel like I am trying something stupid…
They absolutely refused to give me the name and leave me helpless; and she the manager said if I continue insisting and arguing she will be calling security to kick me out of the store…
I am not a fan of complaining people and companies with a small topic but I think safety and integrity are the key expectations at customer service.. I am very much unhappy today that my kid had a risk to injure at this store and it followed by a extreme rudeness and indelicate conduct with workers.
I found everything in this store today such as an accident , an injury risk , a rudeness , a thoughtlessness.. Except a simple apology and a little kindness or a little care for humanity’s sake…

Went to Aeropostale last night and the lady working behind the desk was horrible and very rude to me. She refused to use my discount. And then got really nasty and told me to go to the garden state plaza if I don’t like it. I asked for a manager and she claimed she is the manager. Oh boy if this is true please review who you’re hiring . Awful experience and honestly walked right out of the mall after that. Garden state actually hires some classy people with customer services. I don’t see this store lasting long if this is really their management.

Store number- 0093Associate- 956313Absolutely horrible. As a retail worker I would never treat a customer the way this women did. My brother had spilled his ice cream and I repeatedly offered to clean the mess up and apologized multiple times. She first had her headphones on and she was throwing a fit. Very unprofessional. She started to yell and make a scene. After I said if there is a problem I can clean it up. She claimed she was the manger which I hope wasn’t true because the way she treats her customers is horrible and it’s very unfortunate how aeropostal has workers like her to represent their brand and their store.

The woman that was working was very rude to my non white friend but then kind to me. She also accused my friend of stealing one of their shirts even though she had never pick the shirt up
