Worst customer experience I have ever received. Went back on three different occasions to try and activate an account. My account was blocked due to technician error. Had to walk out and go to a different carrier after returning to the store for three days to try and resolve the issue. Even though my account was never active, I am being charged for a device and activation that I never received - and it’s not a small amount. When I went to the store to get the bill resolved (the only way to resolve the issue) I spoke to an assistant manager who guaranteed that it would be taken care of. It is now a month later, three months since this all began, and the issue has still not been resolved. No one from the store has contacted me or followed up. The bill is now being sent to collections. Do not go here.

It appears something is preventing me from getting auto-pay and getting a plan with AT&T service. The reps are excellent! I had two reps try to get me both-it would not go through! Thank you for listening!

BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY LIFE. I arrive at the Garden State Plaza store at about 815pm. I was not greeted for about 15 minutes. I understad staff was busy but the least the could do was acknowledge me and le5 me know about and estimated wait time. Eventually ai was asked by a female staff member if I had a question. I told her yes i do. I need help activating my new sim card. She seemed bothered by my questioned as it didnt seem to be a sale and told me oh just use an esim if it doesnt fit. i asked her to please help me install as i wasnt familiar with my new device and she helped that. But when i couldnt get my phone to activate she told me to use and in branch phone to contact the 800 number to activate. No i felt pushed away as they didnt want to wait or take care of my issue since they thought i wouldnt bring them an new sale when in fact I intended on opening a samsunt watch line and a business line but after that lack of service I was hesistant. After about 15 minutes on the phone and 0 success the male staff member comes up to me while Im on the phome and yells "YO BRO GIVE ME YOUR NUMBER IMMA HELP YOU." At that point and the complete disrespect I said no you cant help me you didnt want to help me before when you thought this wouldnt result in a sale. Now just because. you heard me tell the agent in customer service of my intent for a watch and business line you want to help me? Thats not how this works. And its not "YO BRO GIVE ME YOUR NUMBER." You could have said excuse me sir I know youre on the phone but I may be able to help with your activation. He then got upset and started to yell that "well theres only two of us what you want us to do?" I told him I understand but its not my fault your manager only put 2 people tonight in this large store. At that point he STEVEN and the female staff member who refused to give her name called security on me and threatened to call the police on me. Is this how AT&T treats their clients? If so then I INTEND ON SELLING ALL OF MY SHARES AND TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Walked in with plans of buying a new iPhone since mine broke but that quickly changed when I was approached in a very rude manner by one of the staff members. I picked up one of the phones that was on display to get a feel of the phone when I was approached by the staff member saying “what are you doing” with a look on his face as if I was going to steal the phone. I then proceeded to tell him that there was absolutely no reason for him to talk to me that way but his attitude didn’t change so I just simply walked out the store. Horrible customer service.

So I'm going to be nice and give 3 stars as I have been an AT&T First Net customer for 3 years and have NEVER had an issue until now. I also respect AT&T as a whole. HOWEVER WATCH OUT for the one salesman at this location as he completely lied to me and made my bill go a little over $60 higher when I initially went to pay off my phone and make my bill lower. Here is the story:
I went in to pay off my phone as I was looking to lower my bill. I was greeted by 2 gentlemen one who appeared to be in training. The trainer was SUPER nice and very talkative, he also seemed like he knew exactly what he was doing. I told them I would like to pay off my phone right then and there. No problem whatsoever. The trainer goes on to tell me that I am qualified for a sim card for any tablet of my choice. He said the line is included in my current plan, you are already paying for it, you might as well have the sim card. After going back and fourth with him to confirm what he was saying is true, he repetitively reassured me that this line is NOT going to raise my bill and that I have already been paying for it. So, I said okay I'll take the Sim card and if and when I get a new tablet for my business I will install it then. Before I left I confirmed a 3rd time that my phone has been paid off, my bill will be lower, and my tablet line is included in that lower price. He agreed.
I have been walking around for two months with that sim card not in use and my bill last month was the bill he said it would be.
TODAY I get an overdraft for my bank account as my AT&T bill hit and was OVER the normal rate. When I called corporate to find out what the error was, they confirmed it was the activation fees, and the monthly increase of this new tablet line which I was told I was already paying for. Thankfully Corporate was able to assist me in putting in a request to immediately cancel that line and credit back my account. The moral of this story is beware of certain salesmen when conducting business in stores.

I signed up and met with Emanuel Castillo Client Solutions Executive in this store to port my business account from Tmobile to AT&T. I paid my devices off in promise of a $4700 credit to my account in $1000 increments every 3 months. After 2 credits Emanuel is no where to be found changed his number and is no longer responding my emails. This has been happening since April 2023. Still no resolution and haven’t been able to reach out to any manager or district manager or anyone from corporate. Customer services is of no help.
