It was not a good experience with Open Box TV Oled Sony. Best Buy should not sell static display defective Tvs. Most static display TV Oleds will have screen damage or Image Retention. Sony will Not cover this known issue. Sony also wrote in an email that they would not repair it. Just stop selling defective Tvs and protect your Brand.

I returned a broken TV. I purchase it online, May 2024.
I had it hooked up last week for an upcoming surgery. The TV had a line down the center, with poor picture quality.
I walked it into the BB in paramus. Not one sales person offered to help me. I struggled with it to Cust Serv. I stood as a young man looked and walked away. He returned and still failed to come over. After asking if he planned on helping me, he returned with an annoyed answer. As the return progressed, 2 workers joined him. I was informed that I was past the 15 day return policy.
I was told there was nothing they could do and I would have to go to the manufacturer. I explained I am preparing for a total hip replacement in a week. All 3 stood and looked at me. They said I had to be a member to get a 60 day return. Exasperated & disappointed none of them offered to carry it out to my car. None of them showed the least bit of compassion. I said I just can't carry this thing back out. You can keep it. I was told I was abandoning my property.
I walked out of the store.
If you have a 60 day policy for members an exception could have been made. This purchase was clearly made for a surgery which will have me incapacitated for 6 weeks. How can a massive company refuse a damaged TV, in my possession for 5 weeks. BB you should be ashamed, businesses are folding every single day.
A 15 day return policy is ridiculous. If I was aware of the policy I would not have purchased it from BB.
I truly hope one of the young men will swap it out and bring a new TV home.
As for me, I told someone what happened at BB. They felt so bad they bought me a TV from Walmart (45 day return)
Surgery is next week.
Thank you WALMART for your compassion.
BEST BUY will never see another dollar from me.

Unbelievable. I try to call about information about a product and they send the call overseas!!! I rather deal with PC Richards where I can speak to a knowledgeable salesperson!!!

I’ve read many negative reviews about the Geek Squad TV mounting service, and now I wish I had listened. Here’s my awful experience with Best Buy Fashion Center and their Geek Squad.
We ordered an 85" TV, the mounting service, and the necessary accessories, scheduled for delivery a week later. On the morning of the appointment, the installation team called to say that some accessories were out of stock in the ENTIRE AREA and needed to reschedule. However, I checked the website and found that the accessories were actually in stock at a Best Buy just 2 miles away. I drove there myself and confirmed they were on the shelf. I tried to call the installation team back, offering to pick up the accessories and still have the installation done that day, and no one picked up the phone for over 2 hrs. When I finally capture them in the BestBuy Fashion Center through a staff. They refused to restore the appointment, saying the original installation was already canceled and the earliest available time was half a week later.
We are very busy and has to set aside this day for the installation. I'm so disappointed that the installation team lied to me about the availability and that Best Buy didn’t secure my product when I purchased it and notice me only on the last minute. I love BestBuy and had great expeirences with it for years, that's why I am so stunned by the level of incompetence and dishonesty this time.

Purchased Zero Water Filters (4) on sale. After installing one of the new filters, the meter registered 0.72+; which should have been 0.00, and it's suggested to replace at 0.06. I returned the three (3) unopened filters and explained to the sales associate I put the "sopping wet/heavy/faulty filter" in the trash. He told me I would be credited for four (4) filters. Upon receiving the new order they only allowed three (3).An extremely RUDE salesperson stated, " So, you want me to give you something for free". He made this statement more than once. Best Buy WILL NOT make good on the $6.99 filter. It's not about the money, it's the principal of poor customer service, rudeness, and not honoring their word. Had I known differently, I would have retrieved (from the trash) and brought them the sopping wet faulty filter. In the future, I'll scrutinize every transaction. I'm certain after this review they'll HIGHLIGHT my profile, which is good. Shame on Best Buy

Zac assisted us, he was friendly and knowledgeable. There was an issue with the new lap top we bought and Mathew (I believe that was his name) calls up to go and choose another one. Not a big deal it happens, it wasn’t their fault, however they took ownership and provided a small discount for the inconvenience.

We purchased a phone. They did not give us the right information or the right phone. The staff is incompetent and poorly trained. We were misinformed about the policy's from the main office.

I went there to look for a pc tower. I asked a gentleman for help he said he would call someone for me. One of the specialist came and I told him what I wanted and told him my budget too. He kept offering me pc tower for 1400$ and offered me a membership discount, but the price was still a lot more than my budget. I asked him about different PC towers that I seen there and he said he doesn’t know anything about them.
