I guess it is very easy to advertise competitive prices if you refuse to sell the item. Tried to buy a Samsung Galaxy tablet. The clerk and manager refused to ring me up for it. Told to go to a BJs in NY if I needed to buy it.

I have a Sam’s Club membership and recently purchased the BJ’s one due to the BJ location in Paramus being closer and I am already regretting the BJ’s club membership. The Express Pay option which is supposed to save you time is limited to 20 items (Sam’s club membership doesn’t have any limit of the items purchased through the equivalent option -Scan & Go) and when you get out of the door of BJ’s, the ladies at the door scan every single item purchased through Express Pay (which takes a few minutes), making this feature pointless, and it feels very awkward and uncomfortable for a buyer spending hundreds of dollars in the club and items being checked thoroughly. In addition, this club sells expired items. Don’t recommend BJ’s membership and needless to say won’t renew it.

I have mixed feelings about BJs in general. The prices are always fluctuating and even more when coupons are used. I went today to buy a few things and ran across the 2 pack Kidde smoke detector. The sign said 27.99 with the clipless coupon. I go to the register and it’s 34.99, not even the original 32.99 written on the sign. The attendant states it expired, so why wasn’t that sign down. It’s been there for more than a month I’m guessing. This has happened with other items as well. They have the coupon book out and it would be the past weeks, and all coupons are expired. Disappointing.

Horrible experience with my curbside pick up order. I arrive and half of what I ordered online was missing. When the rude guy that was delivering my order outside came, I immediately notice that a lot of things were missing, and we are not talking about 2 or 3 items, im saying 12-14 items missing. Mind you, he has the paper on his hand and I’m explaining to him that there are stuff missing, the only thing he has to say is that he is only delivering and didn’t even put the stuff in the trunk the proper way. Everything was mostly thrown and put in in a rush. The purpose of curbside orders are to save us time. I had to waste time going inside and talking to management, I tried talking to a few workers before talking to a manager, but these people wont even make eye contact with you so you don’t bother them. After all a manager was a little helpful but stil, I wasted more than 30 mins inside trying to get help and the rest of the stuff. Anyways I came home and a bag of bagels and table salt we’re still missing. So I wasted time and lost money. Don’t think I’ll be doing this again in this location.

The ladies at the deli need to get it together , 5 meat slicers and only 2 people working. I stood there for 26mins waiting for an order and when I asked about it one lady gave me an attitude. Some customer service training is highly recommended for that group.

The assistant Manger Myra was not helpful and or accommodating at the paramus location. She made my shopping experience uneventful. I came in for one thing. Super excited when they had it. I was told by multiple locations that I was able to use a coupon up to 5 times. I had 2 and plus an e coupon. I wanted to purchase 10 items in total. She refused to accommodate and I had to leave the frozen foods behind. She walked away from me and couldn't be bothered.

I would give you a 5 Star rating but you really need to help those poor ladies in the deli department. You have one lady for filling party platters for customers and then you have a lady that’s fulfilling online orders for customers plus the orders of people waiting in line with their numbers ticket. I know it’s hard to find people to work but I really believe that management should be back there helping them. Because I see people come and try to pick up their order that they had ordered online and it’s not even ready so management please go help those amazing ladies they are doing a bust behind the deli department and you’re running them ragged and I hope you do care about them.
