If you need care asap, please do not go to this place. They do not care in what state you are in. They will make you wait for treatment until they are finished with their process. I REPEAT, IF YOU NEED MEDICAL CARE URGENTLY DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE BECAUSE YOU WILL WAIT FOREVER TO RECEIVE THE TREATMENT YOU DESPERATELY NEED. Go anywhere else. If you can wait weeks, then maybe consider this place. God bless you. I wish you the best.

I would give Care Plus a Paramus New Jersey zero Stars if I could. The way they handled a situation regarding myself was reckless dishonest and very unhealthy for my mental health. Apparently the counselors here do not take the time to get to know their clients they have no empathy towards them they are vicious and spiteful. They medicate you and call an ambulance on you if there is something that you do not agree with them. They are solely in it for the money. I would advise anyone not to come to this specific program. My PCP recommended this group. They contacted me and did intake and signed me up to a program attached to my insurance without disclosing all information needed to make an informed decision. I am now expected to pay roughly 2k for a “lump sum” of services (I was only contacted once for 2 months before actually being connected to a provider and did one actual month of services). I did not feel cared about nor like what was done was in my best interest. The provider was nice but the entire practice was awful and only cared about money.

I was referred here by my OBGYN office after having a traumatizing birthing experience. I’m not going to get into creating a laundry list of complaints about how unorganized and completely unprofessional this group is because I see so many complaints below already. Just know that if I would have done my research in the beginning/ seen all of these bad reviews I would have declined to even start working with this team (even though my OB recommended them).Back on the hunt looking for a therapist I go!

I called bergen county screening services in regards to an involuntary hospital stay. Lady kept hanging up on me and refused to give me her information so I could report her. Not much of a help line. The Allendale police told me to call here to get help because I’m homeless.
But they didn’t let me die. ?

Just got done filing a complaint with the state of New Jersey. So I'm having a mental health crisis and all they do is gaslight. They change appointments last minute, they obviously do not care about their patients. They also shuffle doctors without even giving the patient a send off to say goodbye, no compassion. One doctor prescribed anti psychotic drugs for me simply because I confided in her that I have mildly racing thoughts at night! This criminal organization should lose its right to practice medicine.

So I filled out the online form. Weeks past and nothing. I kept calling and calling. I finally get someone. I go for my intake. They tell me it will be a while to get a therapist because there is a shortage. No problem I wait and wait. After a couple months I get a call that they still don't have a therapist but they want me to do group therapy on Monday and Thursday nights. I am a single Mom and I don't have transportation. I also have issues doing group because of a previous bad experience. So since I couldn't do their group therapy they dropped me. I really need help. They should have said that from the beginning not string me along for months and then just drop me. Thanks for making my mental health worse horrible place. Plus the women at the front desk literally peeled my insurance card apart. Just a weird experience overall

I worked atCare Plus,NJ for 5yrs. It was known for advocating for the Mentally Challenged population. I feel it did an excellent job. This population is difficult to work with because sometimes they have a dual Diagnosis. Besides, mental issues or addiction issue, they are diagnosed with many medical issues such as Diabetes, Chronic Hepatitis, Hypertension,Hypercholesterolemia,Dental problems, etc. Since this vulnerable population also chain smokes. It is extremely important to have good medical care. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to find consistent medical care! It may sound easy since they have health insurance but many Doctors refuse clients with Medicaid.

This agency should be shut down. Many illegal practices with incompetent therapists. Also the Admission department is a joke. Rude people answering the phone all flustered and confused. My school recommended therapy here for my daughter but it was like the Twlight Zone trying to connect to a competent person Do not go here. Seriously run!!

Doctor Ashely have never appeared on scheduled time multiple times and canceled the appointment at the very last minute. What a terrible doctor.

I been going to Care plus in paramus for years now.. and I can truly say they been nothing but amazing and deserve a five star! John has always been super helpful and so sweet! We need more people like him working in offices!

I rarely do reviews but I have to review this establishment because the help they are offering me is above and beyond. Everyone from the front staff (Janibel), my case manager (Rebecca), Tina and my therapist (Jennifer Lubanty) have been so wonderful, patient, and caring. I’m having a hard time mentally and financially, but knowing I have a team of caring individuals in charge behind me makes me not only emotional but protected and supported. I would recommend everyone to go to this facility that needs mental health help and a support team. Telehealth goes smoothly, copay goes smoothly, everything is great. Therapy isn’t only thing they offer, they offer support in daily life when depression makes it hard to deal, and a patient and kind manner with their patients. This is optimal patient care and I’m happy I found my therapy home. Thank you careplus
