I’ve bought firewood from multiple locations in the past and no other place comes close to the quality firewood Denny Wiggers GC has. NOT all firewood is the same! Look at pic below and you’ll see the wood on the left is from a DIFFERENT PLACE and they are bad sizes for a fireplace, have fungus on them and they don’t burn clean. Dennys firewood is on the RIGHT. PERFECT sizes, dry, super clean and burns with a noticeable amazing aroma. I discovered Dennys while dropping my kid off at Bergen Community College in Paramus, Dennys is right across the street. Seriously, never knew of this place before - let me save you time, money and frustration by just going straight here. Also, the workers were incredibly helpful, there’s different kinds of firewood AND they delivered promptly. THE PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE! Denny is a great guy too!!!

Denny was terrific to work with. My husband and I walked into his store without an appointment and he couldn’t have been more giving of his time explaining in depth the different types of wood he had. I never knew there were so many! He was prompt in the delivery even going as so far as to deliver on a Sunday around our schedule. His prices were very fair as well! I highly recommend Denny for any of your gardening needs!

Denny and his team brought topsoil and seed to regrade parts of our backyard after a pool and pavers install (pavers done by Padilla Hardscaping and semi in-ground pool by Dr Zee-also wonderful jobs). Denny came out to look and a week later they did a great job. The seed was growing fast within three weeks and it’s a turning into a nice thick lawn and blends with the rest beautifully. There is an area that probably the downspout caused a valley in while it was just the soil after heavy rain and I called and asked if I could come bring a container to get some more seed and soil, so I’m still waiting back for that, but otherwise very happy. Plan to have them back to put shrubs for privacy along my fence and some creative landscaping.

Great quality top soil. Tested soil from three other local store that were not nearly as nutrient rich as Denny's. Highly recommend.

Dishonest, unprofessional, and a complete scam!
This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered a 1/2 cord of firewood and chose the "stacked delivery" option, which increased the price from $299 to $339. Everything seemed fine until I received a text the day before delivery, claiming I had selected local pick-up and not delivery, and that I now needed to pay an additional $85 if I wanted my firewood delivered. This was beyond outrageous! I had an email confirmation clearly showing "stacked delivery," with no mention of local pick-up.
I immediately called to clear things up, and the woman who texted me didn’t have a clue what she was talking about. Her response was completely unprofessional, making it obvious she didn’t understand the simplest details of the order, let alone how to do her job. She was rude, uninformed, and her texts were poorly written and full of errors.
Then, to add insult to injury, I got a message from another woman—the one I had originally spoken with when I confirmed my delivery date. She outright lied to cover her tracks, claiming that she was "driving" when I first called and didn’t actually have the order in front of her. This was a blatant lie because she had told me during that first conversation that she did have my order pulled up! I hope this business records their calls, because if they do, they’ll see how badly they are screwing over their customers with lies and deceit.
On top of everything, they had the audacity to blame a "website glitch" for not including the $85 delivery charge in my original order. Are you kidding me?! If there really was a glitch, they should’ve contacted me immediately—not waited three days and then tried to slap me with hidden fees at the last minute. What kind of legitimate business operates like this? It feels like they made up the glitch just to scam customers out of more money.
I had been on their website two months before placing my order and the pricing was exactly the same then—there was no "glitch." The only glitch here is this business trying to pull a fast one on their customers and then lying to cover it up. This company is a disgrace, and they clearly don’t care about integrity or customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would. I’m reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, and I strongly suggest anyone reading this stays far away unless you want to be lied to and overcharged. Absolutely disgusting!

Just had firewood delivered today. The ownership himself made the delivery after hours. I found their website the easiest to navigate. Searched many other sites but theirs was the best. I highly recommend and can’t wait to make my first fire of the season. Thank you!

Denny is very professional and pleasant. His workers are excellent. They did sod turf in my front yard. Very professional and efficient. Did a great job and the price was reasonable.

I Have been using Denny and his team for 10plus years and they have Always been on time, courteous, and professional
They recently sodded some of my front yard. But as the Summer weather has been brutal the sod started to die. I reached out to Denny who sent his Crew back to replace the needed sod at no cost to me !
If you are looking for any Gardening or Landscape services , I highly recommend Denny Wigger ! …..and you will to!

Denny Wiggers did an excellent job with our landscape design of our front of our home. Very courteous and punctual completed the job when promised. Very fair on his fees for his services. I highly recommend Denny Wiggers Garden Center in Paramus, right next to Paramus Catholic and across from Bergen community college.

Denny and his crew did the most amazing job, I will hire for this guy for any future projects, very fair price, gets the job done fast, and he is definitely a perfectionist, my backyard looks like hell before he got involved look at the before and after pictures . He is a stand up guy very trustworthy
