Never talk to customers while filling out inventory and ignore them after they look over to respond. Also don’t go silent and look away after they answer your second question. Fools. Too busy to properly speak to a customer. Must have been raised in state with no manners.

Terrible return policy. We attempted to exchange a sweater from a size medium to a small and they insisted a receipt was needed, even though it was a Christmas gift. It didn't matter that we were requesting the same exact sweater, just a smaller size. The woman we spoke to was extremely rude. Customer service was terrible at this store. Most stores dont even require a receipt as everything is digital. Warning: Dont lose your receipt or you can expect a hassle and nasty interaction. Do better for your customers Eddie Bauer! We will be switching to LL Bean.

I have now made Eddie Bauer email spam fodder. I was sent an advert for a 40% off promotion. When I tried to apply it, it said it was not applicable here, so I hit the Continue button thinking it was on the next page, but no, I had purchased the product. When I immediately wrote to Customer Service, I was replied that this piece was not eligible.
Their products no longer are the same quality they once did and their Customer Service is non-existent.

I was helped by two very nice ladies today. Unlike my past visit last year. I was skeptical about going back to that branch. I was so happy it's not the same two guys I normally see in that brench. They were always rude.

Overall return policy at Eddie Bauer is poor. The store was going to credit me with an amount $15 below what I paid. I decided to return via Eddie Bauers on line return program which will cost me $7 to return if not more. Bottom line: If you purchase on line and need to return for whatever reason it will cost money.

My girlfriend and I were shopping desperately for hiking shoes late at night and happen to stop by this location. The crew went out of their way to make us happy. As a result, we made the purchase, signed up for loyalty program, and certainly became loyal customers of the brand.

How difficult is it for ordinary consumers to safeguard their rights? Eddie Bauer company arbitrarily tramples on consumer's rights and interests. Their customer service line goes unanswered, and the initial email responses were perfunctory and official. They handle problems carelessly without actually resolving them. After receiving photo evidence from the customer confirming that the clothes were lost in transit, they did not send a replacement as requested, causing great inconvenience to the customer who couldn't receive the clothes within the expected timeframe. Eventually, they agreed to issue a refund. However, even after sending three emails, they only agreed to refund $149.6, which was the price of one item, but in reality, they only refunded $64.9 (the customer purchased two items together). Not only was the refund for the lost item of $149.6 not issued, but they also deducted $149.6 from the customer's account without consent and took the money twice. The first item was received about a week after making the payment, priced at $64.9. The second item was paid for at the same time as the first, but according to the official website, it would be shipped and the customer should receive a notification via SMS and email, which never came. After checking with FedEx, it was discovered that the package was lost. FedEx advised the customer to contact the merchant, thus leading to the previous communication with Eddie Bauer. When you choose to ship goods, you should ensure the rights of consumers. Customers paying in advance is a sign of trust in your company. Playing with consumer rights puts the brand's trust at risk. Neglecting customer service signals the downfall of a company. Either you address the customer service issue or start a deep investigation into the operational team's service methods, which may be the underlying cause leading the company towards bankruptcy.
