Overcharged by the company that is not abiding by the contract. Terrible customer service experience. After renting a drum set for a year, I got a letter with promotion for the next year. I called a few weeks after the promotion expired, and was assured that the promotion will still be granted with no issues. Lady by the name Erica took my updated CC information back in July over the phone, confirmed new yearly rent with a Transaction Authorization number, and provided instructions on how to return the instrument and when the year expires. Recently (November) I found out that Music and Arts has been charging me monthly instead, which I explicitly discussed not doing with Erica. Customer Service rep Raphael was surprised, as the Transaction Authorization number corresponds to monthly billing, and he also said that Erica had no authority to override the promotion deadline and promise me a yearly contract. I was put on a manager call-back list after requesting to speak with a manager multiple times throughout the conversation. I also told Raphael that I am revoking my authorization to charge my CC, to which he said "ok, but we will still charge it". When I asked to remove it from the account, he said "we cannot do that". No call back from the manager. Next day I called Music and Arts back, and another lady affirmed that a manager will be calling "today". That was 2 days ago. Every call to Music and Arts results in 20+ minutes hold, followed by occasional disconnect. I am still being overcharged.

Unfriendly staff, also they have a very inconvenient booking system. Small things always take forever and are unnecessary complicated. The music lessons they offer are ok, teachers are nice though.

Poor business practice…Returned an instrument months later. Upon receiving receipt for the return Jamie (manager) provided a receipt with the wrong name on it- Registered to someone else.Manager Jamie accused me of swapping the instrument with another customer. Which was totally untrue. She said “customers do this all the time”. (blaming it on the customers)“After I was polite and respectful -Manager, Jamie demanded I leave the store. All I asked for was proof that I returned the item and that she provide me with the correct receipt with “my name” on it. She refused and told me I was not welcomed back and stated she would conduct “an internal investigation”.I needed to call police to document that I was there. Otherwise, there will be no record of my returning the instrument .Finally was emailed my correct receipt with my name on it. Despite their obvious error I received no apologies for their embroil.******STAY AWAY from this place******Poor business practice. The business needs to hire competent managers, to save their business.Placing orders should be easy, but they can’t seem to get that right. -Now I know why school systems in the area do not recommend this place.Whenever you call for an formation, they demand you call “the billing company” they hold no record at their stores. Calling the number your placed on hold endlessly and need to leave a message … Awful servicePostings from “proud mom” and so many others have had the same issue with returns and billing.BEWARE.

Please find another place to rent or purchase instruments from.We rented my son’s saxophone for 7 years from here, accumulated credits and were able to purchase one. We returned the rental. 9 months later I am being charged for the rental and late fees for an instrument I do not have. Called the store and asked to speak to a manager who never called back. The 800 corporate number has no idea what is going on. I am awaiting a call back from them.

The instructors are really great but customer service is atrocious. They had a roofing issue where they cancelled all lessons for two weeks. We made up our lessons within 90 days per their policy but got charged anyway! Can’t get anyone to help or at least explain why this happened. The manager is unhelpful and the corporate call center apparently does not have access. So basically they happily charge you but when something goes wrong, caused by them, there’s absolutely no one help. Sign up at your own risk, you might end up losing money.

Lovely and helpful staff, a variety of instruments for sale/rent, instructional books, charts, instrument/music stands, and everything else to encourage daily practice. I recommend 100%!

The service is mediocre. The cashier was occupied with something on the computer while I was the only customer in the store and she didn't even bother to acknowledge my presence. Then the phone rang and she spent a considerable amount of time on the phone. Once she finally proceeded with my order, she was quite confused about how to process it. So what really should've taken two minutes, took about twenty minutes. No wonder the store is empty

I ordered an instrument for my son it took 2 weeks to be made when they said it would only take 3 to 4 days. I never got my flute and I never got a call either. My son has now missed multiple band classes. And the customer service isn’t friendly or accommodating either.

Love this store! The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter went from a brass to a woodwind and they spent an extensive amount of time reviewing her her new sax. All of our rentals have been in good condition and this year by luck she received a brand new instrument. Awesome store and staff!!!

They have anything what I need in the customer service is very helpful and they have awesome teachers like my teacher Mr Joseph devizio
